(I used a Cantarella cover and made the title something like... that, to trick you, nothing particularly nasty happens here. I don't think he can do that anyways.)

It was Family Movie Night. Or, more importantly, it was your first Family Movie Night with Fukase.

Your parents had both hogged the popcorn, Jen was petting Jack as he slept in her lap, and Fukase had his arms wrapped around you as he rested his head on your shoulder, having put his hat on your head instead of his own. This obviously left you a flustered but silent mess, even though you knew his intentions were completely innocent, so you did your best to just focus on the movie. For Fukase, it was the opposite. He didn't understand what was going on for around half of the movie so he'd just look at your face to get an idea of how he was supposed to react.

The thing he didn't understand the most, however, was when the two leads pressed their mouths together.

"Why do they do that?" Fukase asked. You froze and slowly looked at him.

"A-Are... are you unfamiliar with kissing?" You asked. Fukase shrugged.

"I've seen pictures before. But I don't know why they would do that. It doesn't seem very sanitary." Fukase said.

"Well... u-um..." Did you really have to explain kissing to him? How were you even supposed to do that?

"(Name)?" Fukase began to look concerned when he saw the blush on your face get even darker.

"Uh... if you think kissing is weird, why don't you have a problem with hugging me?" Your eyes gestured downwards to how he was holding you.

"I like being near you." Fukase said. Some people would have found that adorable. But you? It made you more embarrassed and even creeped you out a little.

"Well... people kiss when they... w-when they..." You were cut off by a "shhh!" from Jen. You sighed and once again focused on the movie. This just left Fukase even more confused. He wanted answers, and he was going to get them.

So the next morning, while you were in the shower, he knocked on Jen's bedroom door.

"Oh! Fukase! Do you need something?" Jen asked. She was surprised to see him, as he usually just sat next to the bathroom door during this time.

"Why do people kiss?" Fukase asked. Upon taking in what he had said, Jen began laughing.

"W-Why do you want to know?" Jen asked between her laughter. Fukase was even more confused.

"I don't know. I just don't get it." Fukase said. When she realized he was serious, she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Well... usually, when people kiss, it's because they love each other." Jen said.

"Love?" Fukase asked.

"Do you not know what love is either?" Jen was starting to understand why you felt so awkward around Fukase.

"I know what love is. I don't know what it has to do with kissing." Fukase replied.

"Well, it's just a sign of affection. Sometimes Mom and Dad kiss (Name) and I when we leave for school, for example." Jen explained.

"So... putting your mouths together is just a way to say you care about someone?" Fukase asked.

"N-No! I mean... yes, but you don't just kiss on the mouth!" Jen looked at the bathroom door, hoping you'd come out and Fukase would start sticking to you like a magnet again.

"Where else do you kiss someone?" Fukase asked.

"I don't know, anywhere? I guess it depends on the relationship. You'd kiss your boyfriend or girlfriend on the lips, but you wouldn't kiss your mother there." Jen said, praying that since he knows what love is he'd also know what a boyfriend or girlfriend is. Luckily, he did. But this led to him asking a different question.

"Has (Name) ever kissed anyone?" He didn't know why, but the thought of you kissing people concerned him.

"Uh... no? If it's not me or Chase, she's incredibly shy around people her own age... or people in general for that matter. And before you say anything, she most definitely hasn't kissed Chase. I think they might even be disgusted at the thought." Jen said. Like you, she also knew Fukase and Chase didn't have the most positive relationship. Actually, anyone who was around when the two of them were in the same room would immediately be able to tell.

"Oh. That's good, I guess." Fukase said. It was then that you came out of the bathroom, and Fukase immediately lost all interest in Jen. She would never say it, but she was relieved that he left. Maybe Chase had a point after all about Fukase being a bit unnerving. She still thought he was overreacting though.

Later that day, Fukase watched as you played tug-of-war with Jack, the dog growling as he clung to the toy in his mouth like his life depended on it. Despite this, you managed to pry it from his grip, gave him a few pets, and began another round of the game. You were so caught up in playing with your dog, that you didn't notice the way Fukase was looking at you. He looked as though he were contemplating something. Eventually, he nodded to himself before he sat down on the floor next to you.

"O-Oh! Um... do you want to play with Jack too?" You asked.

"No." Fukase said.

"Okay... well... w-wait, what are you-!?" For the first few seconds, you had no idea what was happening. Fukase had grabbed your face and, after a bit of hesitation, kissed you on the lips. You wanted to shove him off, but your body was frozen in shock, and by the time you had snapped out of it, Fukase had already pulled away. For a moment, it appeared that he also couldn't fully comprehend what he just did, but when he did, you swore you had never seen someone so happy before.

"Wow... so that's what kissing feels like... I think I like it!" Fukase began celebrating as though he were a little schoolgirl who had successfully asked out her crush. You, meanwhile, were still barely able to speak.

"W... why would you... that was my first..." Of all the people you'd have your first kiss with, you didn't think it would be with someone like Fukase.

"Hm? Oh, it was mine too! Jen told me that kissing is a way to show you care about someone. And I care about you! So I kissed you!" Fukase explained before he began bragging to Jack that he had kissed someone.

"Y-You don't just-"

"Yeah, I know, there are other places but the mouth. Jen told me that too. But I couldn't think of anywhere else at the moment. Sorry. I still liked it though, it felt nice." Fukase cut you off. You tried to think of anything else to say to him, but something in your gut told you it was a bad idea. You sighed.

"Well, at least you apologized... just don't tell anyone, okay?" You said.

"...I already told the dog." Fukase pointed at Jack.

(And so begins another round of "Is Fukase's innocence genuine or is he faking to appear more likable?")
