Chapter 9

It was finally time. After many years it was time for Yugi and Kabia to duel. Diamond was worried even though Kabia was an fucking idiot. She still cared about him for some reason. Just for once she wanted Kabia to listen and stop his madness. He was hurting the ones her friends. Diamond had passed her limit of pain and she wasn't going to let him make Dawn suffer with his obsession. "Come on Yugi. Show him the truth. Kabia just listen for once please." She said. "Just listen you fucking jerk." Dawn added she really hated him.

The duel began. It was tough fight it was close. Sadly Yugi figured out talking to Kabia wasn't gonna do any good. So he didn't have a choice. "Kabia listen to me. I know you want to duel Atem. I get it but I can bring him back he's gone."  Kabia wasn't going to listen to a word Yugi had to say. He finally give Yugi the puzzle commanded him to finish it. Dawn held on to Diamond memories of the pharaoh were coming back when seeing the puzzle. Diamond smlies and handle her back assuring her that everything is okay. Yugi puts the last two pieces of the puzzle back. As expected nothing happened, the pharaoh didn't return like Yugi was trying to tell Kabia. "He's gone Kabia. I know that the day we parted ways." Yugi looks at the audience and sees Diamond comforting Dawn. It made him sad to see Dawn upset but he knew she finally accepted Atem leaving. He looks back at Kabia,"You need to let him go along with everyone else who ever close to him. You need to understand you are hurting the people I care about." Kabia wasn't going to accept that Atem was really gone. He want went back to the duel and wanted to prove that he can beat him to bring back the pharaoh. This made Diamond upset, after everything Yugi did to prove Atem wasn't coming back. Kabia still have the nerve to do this. His stupid obsession went to far. "Seto you fucking idiot! Why can't you understand?!" She yelled. She thought leaving him would bring him back to reality but obviously it didn't work. "This proves to me that he never truly loved you Diamond." Dawn said. Diamond nods,"Yeah you right Dawn."

Yugi finally made it through he was going to win this duel once for one. Kabia's life point were going down fast. Just before they were about to hit zero everything turn off. A strange evil laugh was echoing through the stadium. Diamond looked around, seeing everything was going dark and shadows were appearing from every direction. "Oh no." Diamond said with fear. "What's going one?" Dawn said looking around. Diamond looks at the area where Kabia and Yugi were. She saw Diva's cube started to grow bigger and bigger. Once it become bigger then the two guys something started to get out of cube. "This place looks like the shadow realm." Diamond points at the cube both of them blink when they seen the creature that came out. Diamond looked around to see what she could do to get her friends out to safely. As she was looking around she saw a strange black shadow tentable that was heading towards Dawn." Dawn look out!" She says as she pushes her out of the way. Causing her to captured instead of her. Dawn gasps,"Diamond!" "Don't worry I'm okay."  Diamond struggles to break free but the thing was strong. She sees another tentable was heading towards Dawn,"Dawn behind you!" It was too late for the girl to react. She was caught as well,"Ow!Hey!" She yelled. "Dawn! Are you okay?!" Dawn nods to Diamond's question.

Diamond notices they were the only one stuck,"Why is thing after us?" 

Dawn shook her head,"I am not sure." 

As for Yugi and Kabia, they saw first hand what happened to Diva. After losing the duel with Yugi made him go the same dimension where he lost Mani. The ring still there merged with Diva.The millennium ring to take control of him. "This is worse than what he was before.''Yugi said. "He seen better days." Kabia added. Diva told them he planned to change the world by taking lives and making the world The Plana dream it would be. Starting with them Yugi and Kabia will be his first victims to test his new power. "Well I don't know about you but I am not going down without a fight."Kabia said. Yugi smirks at him ,"Do you mean?" Kabia nods. Then they both get ready for the duel of their lives and the world. The monstress Diva gives them an evil look,"Oh I forgot to mention. If you don't win this duel yourselves will vanish. Along with your two females friends became my servants for all eternity."Diva shows them that he has captured Dawn and Diamond. They were struggling to break free, Yugi blinks seeing them,"Diamond! Dawn!" Dawn looks at him,"We're okay. Just focus on the duel." Diamond nods,"Yeah don't worry about us. Just kick his butt guys." Yugi notices and gets ready for the duel. Kabia looks at him,"I always thought that side of her was very attractive." Yugi rolls his eyes,"We can fight about this later. Let's focus on getting rid of Diva." Kabia nods. Then the duel began.

Diamonds continue to struggle. Dawn sighs,"You know we should stop struggling. The only thing we are doing is wasting our energy." "I know. I really hate being the damsel in distress." Diamond said while pouting. "Well that's what we are now. But why did Diva involve us?" Diamond shrugs her shoulders,"I am not sure but I wouldn't want to find out."  Dawn looks around,"Look the world is disappearing." Diamond looks around as well. Dawn was right, everything was turning into purple dust along with the people as well. Diamond looks at the duel hoping that both Yugi and Kabia were okay. She wanted to make things worse. She saw parts of her body vanishing as well. "Oh no! They're disappearing as well!" She screamed. Dawn saw this then panic. She watched Kabia get hit badly. Till the point he lost all of his points went o zeo which made the rest of his body. "Oh no." Dawn mumbled. "SETO!" Diamond screams she couldn't believe that he was gone. Now Yugi was alone which scared her more than anything. "Please Yugi win this. I can't lose you too." They could see Yugi couldn't fight anymore. He was getting weaker with every turn he had. Then the last thing he did was draw another card saying 'I still believe the heart of the cards.' slowly closing his eyes while his body was to the ground. Diamond and Dawn scream his name, a golden light hit causing all the darkness to vanish and bring back everything and everyone it took. Diva along with the members of the Plana came back safely. Their power was taken soon after. Diamond and Dawn woke up in the arena. They look at the figures before them right beside Yugi." It can't be."Dawn blinks. 

Diamond looks at the familiar. Her eyes widened seeing this person,"Atem."
