Chapter 2

Another day of getting ready for school for Yugi Muto. As usual he did his morning routine, got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, and then left to meet Dawn and Diamond. He always walks to school with them. Yugi leaves the store and sees his grandma sweeping the ground. He says goodbye to him. Before Yugi had a chance to leave, his grandma stopped him,"Wait just one second Yugi." Yugi looks at his grandpa confused,"What's up?" Mr.Muto sighs scratching his beard,"I haven't seen Dawn and Diamond in a while. Don't you three walk to school together?" Yugi blushes out of embarrassment," Only little kids do that grandpa. Anyways gonna run."  He runs to the place where he lets the girls. He notices he was there first so he waits for them.

Meanwhile Dawn comes out of her house and notices Diamond wasn't out. Her and Diamond have been neighbors for years.  She goes and knocks on her door," Diamond. Are you coming?" There was no answer. She knocked again thinking she overslept. Suddenly her phone rings a message from her. She looked at her phone and read the message,' I am not feeling well. I won't be coming to school today.' She sighs and sends her get well wishes. Then She runs to the spot to meet with Yugi.

When she arrives at the place she gives Yugi her fake smile. The girl wasn't acting like herself anymore. Yugi gives her a smile as well even though he knew she wasn't herself because of what happened. He hated seeing her that way but all he could do was stay positive for his friends. He looks around noticing Diamond wasn't with her,"Where's Diamond?" "She's not coming to school today. The girl didn't feel well at all."

Yugi frowns hearing this. It was unlike her to do that without telling him. After all he wasn't gonna lie he did have feelings for Diamond but he hasn't told her yet. He was worried if he confessed his feelings she would reject him because she still loves Kabia. "Oh that's too bad. Ready to go then." She nods and they began to walk to school.

Dawn looks at him,"Yugi maybe you should talk to her and see what's wrong." She smiles at her," And possibly tell her how you feel about her."

Yugi gets flustered hearing this,"Is it that obvious?" *sighs* "Even though I want to, I can't. Since she has come back from KabiaCrop she has been a different person."He looks at Dawn "You both have. I rather be here for you both then worry about my feelings."

Dawn shakes her head,"After school let's talk with her okay. I know she wants to your face Yugi because she does care about you" 

Yugi nods,"Okay."

They finally made their way to the school building. As usual their friends Joey, Tristan, Tea and Bakura greeted them with a hello.

Dawn got to class after having small talk with Tea. She made her way to her desk and sat down. She noticed there was a new kid sitting at the desk next to her. She knew he was going to school with him since the beginning of the year but for some reason she couldn't remember his name. He has tanned skin, golden eyes and dark teal hair that spikes outwards in the back, features two small spikes pointing upwards and four ponytails bound with golden rings. He gives her a polite smile," Hello there." Dawn looks at him and gives the same fake smile she gave Yugi,"Hello. I hope school is going well for you."

He nods," Yes it is. You're Damn right? My name is Aigami. Diamond has told so much about you and her friends."

"So you know Diamond. Tell me Aigami has she said anything to you about why she is not here."

"Yes I know Diamond very well. She is one of my friends as well. Also she told me that she had family business to deal with but she wanted me to meet her after school to give her the school work she missed." 

Dawn blinks. Diamond lied about being sick but why." Why you? Why not me or Yugi? The two of us are the closest ones to her and Yugi has been worried sick."

Aigami shrugs,"I am not sure. She texted me last night."

"About what?" She asked.  She had a bad feeling about this guy. She couldn't think why but she could tell that he was bad news.

"She was saying something happened with her family but she didn't explain what happened." He answers

Dawn frowns,"That's insane."

He nods agreeing with her,"Yes. I am worried for her. At the same time I can't imagine how you and Yugi feel about Diamond not telling you."

Little did Dawn know that her precious friend was under control of The Plana. She was being used for Aigami's purposes to find information on everything he needed to know about her and her friends. He originally wanted to control Dawn but her connection to the pharaoh made her untouchable. She was unaffected with the power of The Plana.
