Hiiii author Roulette here (isn't my nickname so cool-) So I'm writing a few things right now, so I'll try my best to not let writers block devour me :,)))
(Y/N) POV
"(Y/N)! We're going shopping, wanna come with?" Edd called up to me.
"Nah I'm good Edd!"
Neat. Some time alone in the house, now I can play ukelele and sing as loud as I want to. I waited until I heard the sound of the front door close downstairs. I grabbed my ukelele, Flynn, being careful not to drop him. (That is the actual name of my ukelele, I also have a bass guitar and she's called Roulette!)
"Right, what should I play? I already sorta overplayed this is home, I wanna try one I haven't really played much.... i guess I'll go for falling for u, I'm in the mood for peachy right now"
A probably stupid idea shot into my mind.
"This better be my best play, cause this one I'll play for Matt. My housemate and crush."
Silly, I know. To this day why I announced out loud is still a mystery.
I began to gently strum the chords on my ukelele in time with the song quietly playing from my phone. I began to sing

As I finished I gently lay my ukelele down on my bed while letting out a soft exhale. It was silent in the house.
Then I heard it.
The applause.
I began to frantically look around. I thought everyone was out?! Apparently not because as I buried my head into my hands, I saw the blur of a purple hoodie come into my room.
matt saw my reaction and immediately ran to my side. "Don't be embarrassed (Y/N)!!!" Unfortunately, his words were no help so far. I let out a sigh and looked up at Matt.
"how much did you hear, Matt?" no matter how much he heard, it was still pretty embarrassing! I don't know about other people, but I certainly don't really like it when my crush hears me sing!!
"uhhhh.. everything! So now I know how much of a good singer you are!!"
Maybe he hadnt heard absolutely everything-
"Oh!! and you have a crush on someone!!"
Well FUCK.
"What? haha- of course i dont what are you talking about?!"
Matt did a little smile
"i heard you say you had a crush on m-"
i buried my head in my hands, yet again.
"no dont say it!! This is already embarrassing, I dont need a rejection too!"
Matt hugged me, making me jump a little bit.
"rejection? what are you talking about? I love you too, silly!!"
slow the fuck down- what??? Did he just say that? Did I hear that correctly? Theres no way- right? He only loves himself theres no chance-
"Why do you look so confused?"
I snapped back to reality when I heard him speak.
"So- you actually... love me? like- more than a friend way?"
Matt nodded enthusiastically.
"Yeah! And I can prove it to you!"
before I could say a thing, his lips met mine, softly. While it only lasted about 5 seconds it felt amazing. We both pulled away and looked at each other.
"You should sing for me more (Y/N)"
