(Y/N) POV
I was once again up in my room listening to music to try block out the sound of Tom and Tord fighting, yet again. I heard Tom yell extremely loud before i heard him run into his room next to mine. I didnt think too much of it until... I heard a strange noise. It was almost like animalistic growling? I quickly decided to investigate.
as I stood infront of Tom's door ready to knock, the noises only got louder. I hesitantly knocked. "Tom? Is everything okay?" He didn't speak.
"Tom."
"I-I'm fiNe-"
I sighed.
"Not very convincing. I'm coming in."
As I began to enter I heard him yell in protest before just slightly seeing him hide under his checkered blanket. I sat on the bed next to Tom and carefully tried to lift the blanket, but Tom kept trying to keep himself hidden. I could see him shaking.
Tom's POV
nononono this isnt good- if (Y/N) sees me like this they'll think I'm a freak- they'll call me a monster- but are they even wrong? I couldnt stop shaking and I could just feel myself morphing into more of a monster.
"Tom, come on... I can feel you shaking... is it because of that fight?" They tried to lift the blanket again, and I didn't stop them. As soon as they saw me, I could hear them gasp. They didnt say a thing and I just looked away in shame.
"I know I'm a monster..." I started gripping at the skin on my arms, probably strong enough to scratch my arms pretty badly as my body began to shake again. I felt (Y/N) hug me.
"no Tom don't say that!! You're not a monster" I felt myself tear up as they said that.
"y-you... mean that?" I saw (Y/N) nod and I almost burst into tears completely as I hugged back.
(Y/N) POV
I could hear Tom start to cry as I spoke. I softly shushed him and pet his head to try calm him down. As he cried I would say small things like 'It's okay' and 'I've got you, dont cry'. Eventually, I saw Tom had calmed down and had started purring.
"Awww Tommy! You purr, just like a cat!" I giggled as I saw him smile at my comment. Suddenly, Tom held onto both my hands.
"Hey... (Y/N) can I tell you something...?" I could see Tom getting a bit nervous again, so I gripped his hands, but gently as to not hurt him.
"Of course"
He stayed silent for a second, before pushing his lips against mine. I melted into the kiss instantly, tilting my head slightly. Tom broke the kiss first and spoke.
"I wanted to say I love you"
I smiled and put my forehead against his, looking into his void eyes that seemed to hold entire galaxies in my opinion.
"I love you too Tommy"
