Thank you all, who waited patiently for this stories conclusion. for I know it took years, even if wattpad only had the story incomplete for a very short time. Please enjoy the Epilogue.
Time moved on.
It always did.
Even in a place as twisted as the anti-void.
Error sighed as he crashed on his bean bag chair, exhausted from another day destroying.
It was a lot different this time around, last time he had Goth to look after and Lich had also retconned most of the AU's he had to destroy.
He missed the kid.
Feeling no new AU's or ones in need or repair or destruction, he allowed himself a rare nap.
OoOoO
He was a felGoth, and a not very happy one.
His day was just the worst.
The need to escape was strong, especially with Horror Sans causing havoc in his AU.
Why couldn't anyone but himself be here.
Then there was relief.
"Well... Hello awkward timing."
OoOoO
The Error woke with a start.
It was to quiet.
The voices of the anti-void were but a distant buzz, usually by now they started yelling at any that could hear them.
Getting up he looked around, there didn't seem to be any intruders.
Quickly he began to patrol, hoping it wasn't another idiot that had found there way there in hope of retrieving one of the souls.
They never won of course.
He blinked spotting something in the distance.
Then he froze.
And Crashed.
OoOoO
It was still there, he had two more crashes before he stopped the cycle of more crashes.
Gently he leaned down and picked the item up.
"You were destroyed?" he questioned.
The Save lantern, in perfect condition sat there.
He swore it was mocking him.
The Error turned around and ran.
OoOoO
Untouched by the reload it stood there.
In fact, now thinking on it Error felt stupid.
The house should have vanished with the reload... there could be only one reason it stayed.
He pushed the door open, his steps echoing in a house that had been empty for six weeks since the reload.
"Sorry I'm late," Goth smiled, white glad figure sitting on the coach.
"Welcome home," Error replied.
OoOoO
It took a few hours, but Error had to know.
"How is this possible, you died.. the reload should have destroyed you?" he asked.
"Not exactly, You have to remember something. I was literally every Goth at once, the retcons actually hit all Goths at once over several multiverses. When the reloads happened, all was restored including the Goths. But instead I exist as part of every Goth, even once that don't exist yet or once did. To destroy me they'd have to destroy every Goth... over every Omniverse in every time," Goth replied softly.
"Then?" Error asked as he began to realize.
"I'm Retconned Goth, I am them the Goth's are me even if they don't know. All Goth's are connected. When certain factors happen you could say they call me forth, they become me I become them. No possession needed. That's why it took so long to come home, someone had to call me forth first. There's only one Retconned active at a time otherwise it would just get... weird, time doesn't mean much to me really as I can be pulled forth even in the beginning of the first Goth. When the one that calls me forth is ready, i take them home or where they desire," Goth explained babbling the information out.
"No more killing yourself," Error finally said.
"Can't exactly die, I exist as long as the other Goth's do," Goth smiled.
"You know what I mean," Error said.
"I'm Sorry," Goth said, and for the first time since the reload allowed himself to cry into the chest of what the nearest thing he had to a father.
Goth was home now.
