Chapter 22: Valentina Finds out Layla cheated on Asher

(A few weeks later)
Valentina's POV:I smile softly as i finish putting away my books. Tonight is the homecoming dance I'm really excited even though I don't have a date. I giggle as The boys past me.
Jj+Jordan+Spencer +Asher:"Hey Valentina."  I Smile Softly At Them .
Me:"hey guys, you guys did amazing at the game last night." I Say honestly they did amazing working together and I've never seen Asher and Spencer get along so well I'm happy they're burning the bargain which let's not forget began with Layla. I can't stand her!
Jordan:" thanks still don't got a date to the dance tonight?" I shake my head no pouting softly it's kind of a bummer going to a dance alone. Asher wraps an arm around me.
Asher:" awww! you know I would take you but, I'm going with Layla."I Giggle Softly as he kisses my head.
Me:"I know ash." I Say Sweetly Spencer has this weird look on his face while he's looking at us. Me and Spencer already talk not too long ago about how close I am with Asher but I explained to him how even though I feel Asher deserves better, I would never make a move on a guy with a girlfriend. Jj Smiles Brightly.
Jj:" you could always tagalong with me." He says while chuckling. I smiled softly while giggling.
Me:" really? But I thought you already had a date." I Say while giggling. Jordan's eyes widened as he chuckles and Pats JJs back.
Jordan :" yeah let's not bring her up she was super controlling." I laugh with them and nod my head while agreeing well looks like I'm going to homecoming with JJ.

(Later on at lunch)
I frown softly as I look at Olivia as we have lunch somethings off with her.
Me:" OK, spill it what happened? " Olivia frowns softly before groaning and saying.
Olivia:" if I tell you what's going on you have to promise you won't go all Ted Bundy on me." She Says I roll my eyes the only thing that could make me go all violent is Layla cheating on Asher with Spencer and she knows this.
Me:" Olivia it's me you're talking to  and you know as of right now there's only one thing that can get me to that point." Olivia frowns deeply and looks down . I guess softly knowing that means it happened she actually did it.
Olivia:" please don't be mad at her Layla is going through a lot right now with her mom's death anniversary passing and her dad not being there and leaving again." I frown softly I know Layla is going through a lot Olivia told me all about it and I really do feel bad for her but it doesn't give her the right to wreck everyone else.
Me:"-you think I don't understand that?!? Trust me Olivia I understand that better than anybody else here! But that doesn't make what she's doing right, she kissed Spencer knowing you like him and knowing she has a boyfriend! Asher is one of my best friends I can't keep this from him." I Say I feel bad for Lila but she needs help and she can't keep on doing what she's doing. Olivia frowns softly as I finish.
Olivia:" I deserve it after last year." I found that her statement I know all about what happened last year her and Asher confided in me with that secret andI love  them both they were going through things and drunk and needed somebody. But what Layla did was an all time low. Especially when Asher is the one trying to make their relationship better can I spend more time with her and he doesn't even know.
Me:" no you don't I don't wanna hear you say something like that ever again last year was a mistake A drunken one night stand. Layla was sober and wide awake when she did what she did." I Say before putting my foot down and hugging Olivia.
Olivia:" please don't bring it up." I sigh sadly. I don't know what to do I want to tell them so bad I want Asher to know. But what kind of friend would that make me to Olivia? Now I know what to say. I see Lila eating not too far from us and call her over. She sits with us and Olivia gives me a " what are you doing?" Face. I shrug  it off before looking at Layla.
Me:" you have until tonight and if you don't tell Asher what you did I will and it won't be pretty."
