AN: Based off Mario, Bryan, Kayla, and Xylo's SCP Foundation Series.

As he took in another breath after dying once again, Mario found himself angry. Furious even.

Why was it always him?

He had never asked to have this curse. He never wanted to come back after dying. He hadn't thought it was possible. He had thought once he died he would be gone, he had been counting on it. He had cried after the first few times he had come back. And that was before the SCP foundation had found him.

When the foundation found him, his life went from the bad it had already been to even worse. Constant experiments, little accommodations, no access to the wifi, and worst of all, complete isolation from his family. The only ones who had kept him going.

How many years had it been since he had seen them? His curse had stopped him from aging since he turned fifteen so he couldn't use his age as a way to judge how much time had passed. The only way he had to tell was the weekly checkups, though after a while he had lost track. It had been over 10 years at least since he had seen them...

His brothers. He had had three of them. His older brother, Mitch, and then his two little brothers, Colin and Bryan. Honestly, the fact that they had run into someone named Bryan hurt him every time. The only comfort he had was that he was pretty sure it wasn't his little brother... at least he didn't think so... Bryan had only been 10 when he got captured by the foundation after all.

Honestly, after all, he had been through, he hated the foundation. He didn't know why he was going along with Xylo, Bryan, and Kayla-Bear. He didn't care about getting the SCPs back in containment. Honestly, he wanted to help the other less dangerous ones to escape. He wanted to escape, especially after his most recent death.

They were just so... selfish. Shoving him into a room first, just because he wouldn't die. I mean sure it made sense. But they didn't even talk to him about it at this point. They didn't even try to think of a different strategy. And he was just... done. He was done.

Reloading his gun, he went back to the elevator they had started on. He didn't know why he hadn't thought of this before. Mitch had taught him how to hot-wire cars, it couldn't be too much different to hot-wire the elevator's systems.

He worked quickly with what he had on the elevator. He knew he didn't have much time before the others discovered that he hadn't returned to them like he always did. He didn't know if they would think to check the elevator but he hoped they wouldn't think of it until after he was gone.

Fate seemed to have other plans.

He was still messing with the wires of the elevator when he heard a voice ask. "Mario?"

He turned to look at Bryan who looked at him in confusion. Xylo and Kayla-Bear weren't with him so they must have split up to search for him.

"What are you doing?"

"None of your business." He grunted as he continued to work.

"And what's that supposed to mean? You're not the one in charge here, Mario." Bryan's eyes narrowed, though they went wide when Mario banged his hand against the side of the elevator.

"Fine, you wanna know? I'M DONE! I'M TIRED OF BEING USED AND TREATED AS EXPENDABLE BECAUSE I CAN'T DIE! I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS! I JUST WANT TO SEE MY FAMILY AGAIN! BUT NO! I'LL NEVER GET TO SEE ANY OF MY BROTHERS AGAIN! BECAUSE OF SOME STUPID CURSE! SO YOU CAN JUST F*CK OFF!" Mario yelled angrily, not paying mind to the tears starting to fall down his cheeks.

Bryan was silent for a moment. He looked like he wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. Not that they would matter.

"I'm leaving. I don't care about whatever else is going on in the facility. So I'm hot-wiring the elevator. Just let me have this at least."

Bryan was quiet for another moment before he questioned. "You know how to hot-wire an elevator?"

"Well my older brother Mitch taught me how to hot-wire a car, I figure an elevator can't be so different." Mario shrugged, not noticing how Bryan froze a little at the name Mitch.

"... Mario, what's your full name?" Mario looked up at him curiously at that question. "Why do you wanna know all of a sudden?"

"Just curious..." Bryan said but his face said differently.

"Mario Divil was my name before the SCP foundation took me. Not that I go by it much anymore..." Mario sighed, not noticing the look of horror that passed on Bryan's face.

"Mario Divil... older brother named Mitch... Did you have two younger brothers before you were taken? Ages 10 and 13?" Mario looked up at Bryan sharply when he said that. He didn't respond but the look on his face was the only answer Bryan needed.

"I would've thought you'd be older... You look the same as in all of your old pictures... then again I guess since you can't die... that would make sense..." Bryan said in a quiet whisper.

"I didn't think you were actually... Oh gosh." Mario felt more tears run down his face as he covered his mouth with his hand. These weren't the same ones of anger as before though, these were happy tears.

"Same." Bryan nodded as tears started to form in his own eyes and he lunged forward to embrace Mario. Mario hugged him back just as tightly.

When they separated, they stared at each other for a moment before Bryan asked. "Mind if I help you with hot-wiring the elevator?"

"Mitch teach you how to do it too?" Mario asked curiously.

"Colin actually." Bryan corrected before he fished a screwdriver out of his pocket. "Which tells me this might help."

Mario smiled and took the screwdriver, continuing with his plan to hot-wire the elevator. Only this time he had a helping hand.
