Chapter 3- Transformation

My alarm clock went off, I stood up and realised it was 7:00, I had to meet Jasper. My dad banned me from wandering off but I had to spend my first night as a shifter with him, he was my Mate.

I got changed into some clean clothes and snuck out of the opening of the tent. I looked around to make sure no one was around, they were all in their tents. I took my chance and ran out of the camp and into the woods where I met Jasper.

"Scarlet slow down!" He boomed, I never knew he had a side like that, but I liked it.

"Hey!" I said, I felt so active!

"If its tonite then we can have a little guessing game about what your power might be" He suggested

"What is yours?" I asked

"Mine is a very common one- my speed is two times faster than a nomal wolfs" He replyed

"I hope my one is rare" I said

"I have a feeling it is" He guessed

"Will it hurt?" I said, I was so worried

"It depends who you are, if your like me then it will be painless, but if you are going to get a rare gift, I dont know" He answered

So we waited for the moon to rise, when I will transform. Then we saw the brightest glow and I felt a surge through my body and Jasper lay me down on the flowers.

"How do you feel?" He asked

"I feel..." I started, but a pain shot through my body and I started shivering and I couldnt stop.

"Scarlet!" I heard him say "I have to get your dad, stay there!"

Then I knew what my gift was, I could see Jaspers everymove. I saw him run as fast as he could across the woods and towards the camp. He hesitated, and gulped and ran into the camp shouting.

"Where is Scarlets father!"

"Who are you and what are you doing on my camp!" Boomed my father

"Scarlet is transforming, she wanted to spend her first night with me, but something has gone wrong!" I heared him say

I saw my father transform and run after Jasper heading my way and the next thing I know Jasper is holding me in his hands.

"Why would she want to spend her night with you instead of me?" He wimpered

"She is the only one that can tell you that, but it will be a shock to you and a dream to her" Was the only thing he said.

The pain was excrutiating it was like being ran over by a truck, being stabbed and jumping off a clif allat the same time.

"Scarlet, come on I cant lose you!" Shouted Jasper, then my father ndrestood and pushed Jasper away from me, the pain got two times worse

"Jasper" I said lightly and faintley, so he came back and seeing my father and my Mate working together after that row made the pain stop, I had shifted.

"Scarlet!" Cried Jasper as he transformed, now we could only contact by mind

'Jasper I know what my gift is!' I thought to him

'What?'

'I can see any ones every move, what is that called?'

'That is so rare I dont know!'

So we lay down together and looked at the moon for an hour and we ran around hunting and foraging for animals worthy being killed by us.

'Jasper?' I asked

'Yes?'

'I was wandering, why doesnt my father like you?"

'Now is not the time to tell you'

I wondered what he ment by that when he caught a deer and asked,

'Would you like to share this deer with me, Ma Lady'

'You are such a gentlewolf Jasper!'

So we sat down together and ripped the deer apart bit by bit, it was the best thing I had ever tasted in my life!

'Scarlet...' He asked

'Yes?' I answered

'I was wandering, do you...umm...oh never mind there is pleanty of time to ask'

'Oh' I said, quite disapointed
