I walked inside and decided to explore more of the house, since it was huge. Since the shirt that Jimin had given me was soaking wet, I went to the bathroom and wrapped a towel around my top half which on bore a flimsy bra. I put on the sweatpants he had given me and began to look around the house.
I climb the steps to the upper levels and I am awed t o see yet another, yet smaller, living room. but instead of a fireplace, there leaning on the wall was a flat screen TV. I walked past the living room and continued down the corridor. As I walk, I pass many doors and soon I approach a door tucked into a corner of a wall. I open the door and look around the room.
There are a few shelves with loose papers and books covering them and in the middle of the room is a grand piano. I smile and walk towards the piano. I run my hands along the keys and after a moment, I walk back to the door and close it. I hurry back to the piano and sit down on the leather stool. I place my fingers along the keys and began to softly play.
(Refer back to link up top to hear what she played)
I began to close my eyes and let my fingers glide along the keys. I smile as I feel a sort of calmness wash over me. I sway slightly and continue to play. Once I finish the piece, I sit in a calming silence.
"Ludovico Einaudi. No one's ever played anything on my piano, let alone Ludovico." I hear a voice from behind me say softly. I turn and see that guy from before. The demon of sloth.
I quickly stand up and take a step away from the piano."Your piano? I-I'm sorry! I didn't know-"
But he shakes his head and smiles softly. "No, please. It's okay. I'm glad to see that there is someone else in this house that has some good taste in music."
I return a small smile and look back at the piano. "It's beautiful, by the way."
He walks towards it and lightly runs his fingers along the side of it. "Thank you. It was a gift from a fellow musician I became close with. He was from Bonn, Germany."
"He seems like a nice person." I say softly.
He sighs and sits at the piano. "He was indeed, a wonderful person. Gave me a lot of insight into the human word. He was truly a close friend of mine. He taught me how to play piano."
I sat down next to him as he began to play slowly, and softly. A sad tune soon filled the room. I recognized it to be the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.
(Search to hear the tune. Quite beautiful.)
He played with so much emotion on his face. His face look pained yet calm. It was like he was considering each and every note and pushing some sort of purpose from them. I was not only mesmerized by the music but by him.
Yoongi...that was his name
After he finished the piece, we sat in a sad silence before he broke it.
