Yeah, it started out as an abusive, sad story. But at least the end made it worth it. I hope you were moved by Suho's touching story of finding his light amidst the darkness of his life.

About Eunsaek's advice to Suho to "break ties with his father", I know that it's a selfish move and a bad advice. The good advice would be to "make amends with his father and start life anew". But know that Suho's father in this story have been so hard-headed and money-driven for so long that it seems impossible for him to change for good. It would take time for him to eventually realize his mistakes but not sooner. Eunsaek knows this too, in the small time that they were together, she knows enough. That why she gave that advice to Suho because she thinks it's the best thing to do at the moment. Maybe in their future, matters between Suho and his father would be resolved and they would have a happily ever after. But we wouldn't know that because this is a short story.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story. Don't forget to vote if you do.

Fun facts:

1) The last chapter (4) is the longest with more than 3500 words.

2) Suho was supposed to be a rich businessman and not a reckless college student.

3) The ending was supposed to be sadder and that they didn't end up together.

Edit: Please ignore the mention of Kris here. I wrote this story way before we found out he's a child molester. I'll edit him out soon.
