Jared was heading back to his hotel after the Artifact screening in Chicago when his look caught some known figure walking ahead of him.
He quickened his pace and called the man out. Jared was not wrong , it was Punk who turned around.
“Hey Punk!” Jared wore a huge smile.
“It’s been ages Jared! How are you buddy?” Punk was glad to see Jared.
“I’m great! Surprised I find you here though.” Jared noticed a bunch of comics in Punk’s hand “What are these?” he pointed to the books.
“Ha!” Punk chuckled “Chew, Walking Dead… Comic book nerd here” he shrugged.
“Had I enough space to carry them around I think I’d be a nerd too.” answered Jared.
“Are you expected somewhere right now? ‘Cause I could invite you home it’d be nicer than the streets to chat,” proposed Punk.
“Lead the way” Jared said as he texted Shayla that he wouldn’t come back to the hotel soon.
“Your wife isn’t there?” asked Jared as he removed his Zadig&Voltaire boots.
“Nope” yelled Punk from the kitchen “She is on the road with the WWE.”
“Oh she’s a wrestler too?”
“Yes and as the Divas’ Champion she cannot allow herself to miss much shows.”
Punk came back to the living room and motioned Jared to sit on the white leather sofa.
“It must be hard to maintain a relationship then.”
Punk nodded “it is sometimes, that’s why we got married, because our relationship is not just a fling. Do you want something to drink?”
“I’ll have almond milk, thanks.”
Jared saw Punk’s vinyls collection and stood up.
“Nirvana, Minor Threat, Pink Floyd, The Who,” enumerated Jared “I like that! You have a great taste in music.”
Punk who was coming back with Jared’s almond milk and a soda can answered “thanks, that’s why I like your music.”
He had not finished his sentence yet that he regretted it and turned crimson red. To avoid Jared from noticing his embarrassment he rushed back to the kitchen.
“Do you want something to eat?”
Too late. Jared’s hunter instinct had told him his pray was unsettled and ready to be assaulted. He was on the wrestler’s heels.
“Thank you very much for the compliment” Jared whispered in Punk’s left ear.
His torso slightly touching Punk’s back. His hot breath tickling the wrestler’s neck “is there anything else you like about me?”
The singer dangerously approached his lips to Punk’s neck. A train of chills run up the wrestler’s spine when their skins touched.
This was the feeling Punk had been fearing ever since Chester had introduced him to Jared.
A knock on the door saved Punk from Jared’s claws. The latter stepped back and Punk went to open the door. It was Scott a friend of his.
Jared greeted the intruder and excused himself, Shayla had set up an appointment – or at least that was what he wanted Punk to believe. Tonight was not the night he was going to catch his pray.
