FlashbackTaehyung's POV:
"Arghhh!!" Damn the streamers and all these decorating stuff. Scratching my head from the annoyance I felt. It was so irritating how the balloons wouldn't fall into place.
You see, I'm a romantic person when it comes to love. Thing is, I'VE NEVER BEEN IN LOVE BUT UNTIL NOW. I at least tried to give my chances to myself and try.
I can take advantage and give myself an experience I would never regret. And the experience I want to have is at least the sweetest, and nothing would ruin it.
The balloons I had set up were golden, arranged perfectly around Jungkook's room. The lights were as dimmed as it could be, so I could on it when he enters. And the mere party poppers were placed right into my hands to at least wait for the door to open.
It was to celebrate "Inner Child" after overlapping "Winter Bear". It was like my children fighting my other child.
I wanted to cry and celebrate it with everyone, but the more I cry, the more I can't do anything about it. And plus, I wanted to celebrate with the lyricist who helped a lot.
A great way to celebrate it is with the one I love. And he's the only one I could only share this moment with. I'm willing to wait for him, no matter what time he arrives. After all, we can all wait for love right?
Author's POV:
Unfortunately, the older lost his patience. He tried to at least calm down and tried to clear out everything. He panicked of what would happen to Jungkook. He hasn't seen him the whole day and it upsets him.
Every morning, he notices that Jungkook gone. He fails to say in his head that he lost interest to him like nothing happened. He pouted, knowing Jungkook would work again and again.
And every night, he would always come back but it would be around 11:00 PM, which was Taehyung's bedtime. He thought he could sleep beside his roommate and boyfriend, but he was blinded by not the oblivious.
This time, it was different. Taehyung hated different.
He hates difference, with the side of change so much. It pained to make him realized so much has changed ever since he's answered his Kookie. He thought it would stay a lovey dovey relationship.
But no...there was no hope.
It was too late to realize this relationship is not free to wander around anymore. It was fading, and it was sure. The dusts of their love had scatter, leaving Taehyung broken hearted and saw the signs break him.
And he thought this would be the last thing that could make Jungkook happy. It turns out not.
"Tae?" He saw no dim lights, and no party streamers, balloons or any happy Tae to be seen. All there was a cake, strawberry shortcake from days before noticing they were celebrating. Tae thought of it as a parting gift when deep inside, he wanted more. And a god damn letter.
And there began, the saga of a lost man.

"h-hyung.." stroking the picture frame as he listened to the song "Sweet Night". The lyrics were bitter sweet to his ears, yet he knew in his heart nothing could fix this.
"come back to me please." But no amount of mourning could ever make him see the bright smile of Kim Taehyung that made him smile brightly like the sun, ever come back in a second.
