Path Crossed

I smiled as I look around the place, I walked around the streets, its my 2nd week here and Seoul and I spent my first week fixing my papers and when I get home later I will email my applications to the online job offers later.

I walked towards the small bench and placed my bag and looked around me.

A lot of things has changed, everything here changed but the same busy streets and I'm still alone then the difference is I have a degree now, I sighed and leaned my head against the bench and hums softly.

I grabbed my phone from my bag and went through my final application paper, going through the list of the company that I'm going to apply for. I hummed softly as I slowly sent my application and I'm crossing my fingers hoping that one of these companies would give me a call back.

I most applied for Architecture firm, the two other company are Construction firm and the other is combined.

And about Ms. Na's offer, I'm going to work as a part time waitress and I'll be starting tomorrow, until I get a call back from one of the companies. I looked around at the place once again as I remember that I have to buy some essentials and probably a few new clothes too.

I stood up and headed towards the direction of the mall, clutching my small bag and looking at my phone looking a t the small list that I've made in my phone. I reached the mall and headed to the department store, back in Daejon, I worked a part time cashier as I study in college and I got a decent saving from the money I earned and from the allowance I'm receiving from Yoongi.

I walk through the isle of clothes and bags, I got a few decent, most are probably formal wear for work hopefully.

I was on the way to the counter when someone bumped me, making me drop all clothes I'm holding, I immediately apologize and when I look up my eyes widen, my body grew cold, Jeon Jungkook standing in front of me, staring at me.

"Y/N? Kim Y/N?"

I didn't answer as I immediately pick up all the things.

"Hey, wait! You're Kim Y/N right?" he asked again and behind him I saw Taehyung, he was looking at us and I pulled my arm from Jungkook's grasp and walk away until I got away.

My heart is racing as I place all the clothes and pair stilettos, anxious looking around the place and I breath in relief, when I don't see them around me, I paid for the stuffs I bought and carry three paper bags with my small bag.

My plan is after shopping I'm going to go and roam a little, but after seeing Jungkook I have to leave right away.

I walk towards the Elevator and I walked inside, I pressed the upper ground floor and mg breath hitched when a pair of familiar eyes met mine, the same intimidating and ruthless eyes, the same eyes I love from before, the same face that lingers in my head, the same face that makes my breath away, the same eyes that have me trembling.

Park Jimin.

The elevator closes and I tried to steady my breathing, reaching to hold on the bars as my hand clutches my own chest.

He's here, did he recognized me? I wish he didn't.

I immediately left the Mall, almost running away from the building and goes to the bus station, luckily a Taxi stopped. Settling inside the back seat, I tried to steady my breathing as memories from the past started to strike me one by one, I remember everything, From the day he forcefully dragged me out of my house to come with him in Busan to the day he kicked me out from Park's Mansion.

Tears filled my eyes, the taxi driver worriedly asked me if I was okay and I can barely answer, my chest tighten and all I want to hug Yuri noona or Eunwoo.

6 Years, I didn't see him for 6 Years and I didn't expect to see him today, I was just really hoping right now that he didn't recognize me. I don't what I will do if we have another encounter again.

I paid for the Taxi and immediately went inside the House, I dropped all the paper bag on the floor and run to Eunwoo's arms as soon as he walked inside the room.

I sobbed against his chest and I just keep mumbling apologies, He whispered sweet things in my ears but I just couldn't seem to calm the erratic beating of my heart.

"Y/N, please calm down, sit here and let me get you a glass of water" he whispered and kisses my forehead before guiding me to sit on the stool, I cried against my palm and soon he was back to my side and hugs me tightly, I sip from the glass of cold water and soon I started to calm down against the back rubs given by Eunwoo.

"That's good, please calm down Y/N" he said softly and I sighed as I started to hiccups.

"I-i saw him, Eun. I saw him" I muttered between my hiccups and I down the glass of water until I stopped my hiccups.

He turned to look at me with furrowed eyebrows

"Who? What? What are you talking about?" he asked and I almost broke down again, I couldn't even say his name, I feel like it's forbidden.

I swallowed my own breathing as I turned to meet his eyes.

"J-jimin, I saw Park J-jimin in the Mall" I said and his eyes widen and soon I was engulfed by Eunwoo in his arms again, Tears fell from my eyes and soon Yuri Noona came and joined.

When I calmed down, I explained how I saw him as well as Jungkook and Taehyung. I calmed down after an hour of comforting me, and I laid in my bed staring at the ceiling before going in to open my window and look at the city light, the building started to light up as the sun goes down.

I look at the huge city right in front of me and I closed my eyes as the memory of me burying the necklace and the ring Jimin gave me flashed back.

Another set of tears left my eyes

And I wish, I wished that my memories were erased from everyone the moment I bury those things. I really wished it happened.
