"You look beautiful." I said softly. Taylor was in a elegant white dress with a thin veil over her face. She was short and curvy with olive skin. She had long light brown hair that cascaded gracefully down the open back of her gown. "Parker is a lucky guy."

"Damn right he is." She said smiling. She turned from the mirror to look at me. "Do I really look okay?"

"Yes." I grabbed her shoulders. "You look flat out amazing."

"I know, I just wanted to hear you say it again." I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"It will be worth it once I get my twenty bucks." I shrugged.

"Was it twenty?" She asked grabbing one of her white heels and slipping it on to her foot.

"Yeah, ten for when you trip and ten for when Parker gives me a strange look. Twenty bucks." I said doing the same with my gold shoes. I was wearing a navy blue A-line dress that came to my knees. A gold belt wrapped around my waist. The straps criss-crossed in the back and a gold bow rested where they met.

"Right. I have the money...if it happens." She said pointedly.

"Oh. It will happen. I've known you since we were fourteen and I know you are going to fall." I ducked into the mirror and looked at my make-up. My lashes looked long and blue eyeliner with gold shadow. I had my blonde hair pulled into a half pony. The other girls had their's curled but my naturally fell that way. "Are you excited for the honeymoon?"

"Yes! Warm weather, white sand beaches, sun. I can't wait." She flopped back onto the couch behind her.

"I doubt you'll leave the room much. The two of you will probably not even leave the bed."  I sat in the chair across from her.

"Let's hope so, I want  grandchildren and lots of them." Her mother came through the door. She was short and squat and wore a blue dress and  matching  jacket.

"Yeah, yeah. I know mom." Taylor said waving a hand at her.

"Like I said, they won't leave the sheets." I winked at Taylor.

"That is where you are very wrong, per usual." She said and I raised my eyebrows at her. "There is the floor, the shower, the table, door, window. Plenty of places we'll be besides the bed, we can be...creative." She explained.

I laughed. "Now I see how wrong I was."

"Make sure you guys don't get too rough, you'll want your damage deposit back." Her mom said.

"Auntie Taylor?" The three of us spun towards the door and saw Taylor's four year old niece, Alice, standing in the doorway.

"How long have you been standing there?" Mrs. Plott asked.

"Why what were you talking about?" Alice asked innocently.

The three of us looked at each other. "Shoes." We said in unison.

"Come on sweetie, let's go find your basket?" Mrs. Plott said taking Alice's hand and leading her out of the room.

"Hal, just think, this time tomorrow I'll be married. I'll have a different name. I will be somebody's wife." She stood and moved back to the mirror. "Everything is going to change."

"Not everything and change is good, without it we woulddn't grow, heck we'd all still be covered in hair and communicating through grunts." I stood behind her and looked at her in the mirror.

"Okay, smartypants. I get it. Change equals good...most of the time." She said with a weak smile.

"Okay, stop. You love him, he loves you. You are not going to talk yourself out of this. That boy is completely mad for you." I said putting an arm around her. I was head and shoulders taller than her.

"How do you know?" She asked.

"If you don't believe me look at his face when you walk down the isle. You'll see it on his face, in his eyes. I see it every time he looks at you, trust me. Now," I said using a stricter tone, "Get your ass out there. I'm in a dress for you and I'm not going to be able to stay in it much longer." I gave her a light pat on the butt."It's game time."

"What a lovely way to put it. You compared my wedding to a high school basketball game." She smiled as we left the room.

"Championship game!" I assured her.

"Oh, cause that makes it better." She grabbed her bouquet and stood next to her father.

"I thought it did." I said as I took my place in line next to Dean. We were the tallest so naturally we were put together. Taylor's sister, Bailey, stood behind me with the Best Man Alex, he was Parker's brother.

"You look great." Dean whispered. Dean was tall and lean. He had dark hair and eyes that could have been black, he was extremely attractive and extremely gay.

"Thanks, you too. Did Kyle make it?" I asked. Glancing at him I noticed his tie was crocked and motioned for him to let me fix it.

"Yes. His flight got in this morning. He's excited to see you. Did I ever thank you for helping me find him?" He asked smoothing his jacket.

"I'm not sure being his last girl friend classifies as helping you find him." I said.

"Without you he would never of realized he was gay, although everyone else could see it, I mean he is really gay." He checked his hair in a nearby window a made small adjustments. "I'm surprised he made it this long without realizing it."

"Yeah I get it. Kyle. Really gay. Me not knowing." I said crossing my arms.

"Oh don't worry. You'll find him. When you least expect it." He said putting his hand on my right shoulder. "Any straight man would be mad not to find you attractive, heck one of the gayest guys out there found you attractive, that's something. Right?"

"Not so much, no. Besides who believes in The One anyway? Its just a fairy tale." He moved his hand and I quickly placed my hand on my left shoulder momentarily.

"You're not serious? You still have that weird touching thing?" He rolled his eyes at me.

"It's not that weird...is it?" He nodded. "Oh." Suddenly the music started and the line slowly moved forward. Dean looped his arm threw mine.

He leaned over and whispered, "Well if I have to go to the alter with a girl I'm glad it's you." I laughed and we walked through the doors.

I looked at Parker standing at the alter. He was tall and muscular. He had a lip ring and tattoos hidden by the tux. He didn't seem like the forever kind of guy but when it came to Taylor he was absolutely in love. I watched his face as her father walked her sown the isle. His face said it all. There are very few girls that get that look. Sure some get a look but most never get that look. That look of absolute admiration and love. He was right for her. They were completely in love.
