Marinette's P.O.V.
Today is Heroes Day and everyone at school will be dressed as their favorite hero. I have been making my costume the past two weeks. I am going as my partner, without whom I wouldn't have been able to do the things that I have done, Chat Noir. I don't think that people give him the credit he deserves for everything he has done. If I hear someone call him a sidekick one more time, I don't think I will be able to stop my self from attacking them. I don't care who it is.
I look at the clock as I am putting the final touches to my costume and I realize that I am going to be late........ again.
"Tikki, come on. We are going to be late."
SCHOOL
I see Alya outside waiting for me dressed as Carapace and Nino next to her dressed as Rena Rouge.
"Hey girl, amazing costume!"
"Hi guys. How is my favorite power couple?"
"Awesome, dudette . How are you?"
"I am great."
I look around and see that everyone except for a couple of students are dressed as Ladybug. A car pulls up next to us and Adrien comes out also dressed as ladybug. And can I just say that he looks amazhang. I have finally stopped stuttering when I am around him but I still have an enormous crush on him.
"Hey Adrien, looking good" says Alya.
"Hi dude. "
"Hi, Adrien. "
"Hi, guys. Hi, Marinette, amazing Chat Noir costume."
"Thanks. I love your Ladybug costume."
"Adrikins "says the spoiled brat wearing a Ladybug costume coming our way with Sabrina dressed as Chat Noir walking next to her.
"Ugh, I don't get why people like Chat Noir. He is the sidekick."
I am about to attack her when I feel someone's arms around my waist stopping me from attacking her. I look behind me and see that it's Adrien.
"Let me go!"
"No, you are going to do something that you will later regret"
"I highly doubt that!"
"I am not letting you go until you promise me that you won't attack her."
"Fine! I won't attack her." I say and he lets me go.
"Listen here you spoiled insufferable brat, Chat Noir is not a sidekick! Ladybug and Chat Noir are P-A-R-T-N-E-R-S .PARTNERS! What can you not understand?!?!? Without him Ladybug wouldn't be able to do anything. They are a DUO. A TEAM!! THEY NEED EACH OTHER NO MATTER HOW WELL THEY CAN MANAGE WHEN THEY ARE ALONE!! SO IF YOU COULD PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH. YOU WILL BE DOING EVERYONE A FAVOR." I scream at her. Without realizing it Adrien had wrapped his hands around my waist when I tried to attack her again.
"Whatever," Chloe says and leaves with Sabrina on her tail.
"I can't believe that you just shut Chloe up, " Alya says amazed.
"You can let me go now Adrien" I say to him and he does so.
"Do you mean what you said, well screamed, to Chloe ?" Adrien asks me
"Of course, I did. I can't believe how many people underestimate Chat Noir. What is Ladybug without her partner and what is Chat Noir without Ladybug? They are a team." I respond.
Adrien's POV
The fire in her eyes when she says that reminds me of My Lady. Then, I look at her , really look at her and realize that she is Ladybug. How could I have been so stupid? She has been right in front of me all this time. How could I have been this blind? I hug her and whisper to her ear,
"Thank you, Bugaboo."
She pulls away and looks at me in confusion and I wink at her, putting my Chat Noir face on. She hugs me and whispers in my ear
"I mean all of it, my kitty"
After she pull away Marinette looks at me and then at Alya and Nino.
"Let's get to class"she says grinning.
