I felt the car come to a slow stop and my eyes popped open. The blacked out windows prevented me to see out of them and I sighed heavily. I felt fingers lace between mine and I looked over to see Zivanor with a warm smile on his face. Zivanor placed his cheek on mine and turned his head slightly, kissing my neck gently. "I want you to close your eyes now. Don't open them until I tell you to do so. Alright," Zivanor whispered in my ear.
I pulled back from him and sighed, closing my eyes and putting my hand over them. Zivanor opened the car and stepped out, pulling me close to him and began walking, dragging me along with him. " Can I open my eyes now?"
"No," Zivanor protested.
" I can't see though," I pouted in a childish tone.
" That's the point."
After about thirty minutes of walking uphill, Zivanor pulled me to his chest and let out a small sigh.
" Can I look now," I said impatiently.
" If you lay down, you can." Zivanor placed one arm around my lower back and a hand on the back of my head, helping me find my way to the ground. Zivanor laid me down on something warm and I felt him lay down beside me, pulling me against him. Zivanor placed one arm under my head and I laid my head on his chest. "You can look now," Zivanor whispered to me.
I opened my eyes to see a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the mountain. The sky was pink and purple and snow gently misted on us and the sun gently touched my face with warmth. Zivanor laced his fingers with mine and held my hand tightly. I looked up at Zivanor shyly and smiled as my cheeks grew warm. Zivanor placed his free hand on my cheek and looked into my eyes. I gripped on to Zivanors hand and drew in a quick breath. Zivanor gently pressed his lips against mine and I jumped slightly as he pressed into the kiss, before pulling away. Zivanor gently traced his thumb along my cheek and smiled as my cheeks grew red.
" Why..." I paused and looked down at the ground. " Why did you kiss me, Zivanor?" I glanced up at him to see him thinking.
" I like you... A lot" Zivanor smiled and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. I laid my head against his chest and looked out to the mountains. The sun had fallin' behind the mountain and the snow started to come down a little harder. The temperature had dropped a little and I started to shiver. Zivanor lifted me up with him and began to walk us to the car
The wind started to pick up and leaves blew around us. As the wind settled, the man from the club appeared in the road. Zivanor stepped in front of me and lowered his head a little, deeply growling at the man.
"Don't get to friendly. Hell is soon to come." As the mans sentence came to an end, he disappeared into the darkness.
Zivanor took my hand and lead me quickly to the car. The driver had the door open and let us crawl into the back seat, shutting the door behind us.
I laid my head back against Zivanor and sighed, taking in the events that just happened. "That was the man from the club." I closed my eyes and curled up to Zivanors warm body. Zivanor wrapped a blanket around us and rested his head on mine, holding me close. I glanced up at Zivanor to see him looking off into the distance with a worried look on his face. I closed my eyes again and yawned. I had a horrible feeling about everything but decided to ignore it. Zivanor pulled me closer and let out a deep sigh as his body relaxed against mine. Zivanor raked his fingers through my hair and I smiled. I pushed all the worried aside for the night and fell asleep in Zivanors warm, loving arms.
