"THE LETTER" Part 9

"Who..did this..?"

The house was like a massacre, the
things are scattered everywhere and there are some broken vases too. They don't know what happened.

"What happened here..."
"Stay behind me.",Rengoku said as
(Y/N) followed him behind.

They started walking and searched the area. They heard someone crying that's not too far from them. They hurried there to see what happened.

"*hic*hic"

"Mother! Father! What happened here!?"

Rengoku saw his father on the floor with blood dripping from his head. Her mother was stopping the blood using a cloth.

"Where did you go yesterday, you idiot!?",Rengoku's father said as he sat while stopping the blood from his head.

"I'm sorry, Father. It's a long story.
But what happened here. Where's...
Senjuro?", Rengoku said while calling his brother but no one answered.

"W-where is he...?", Rengoku said as he tried to calm his self.

"..He's been taken by those people..their not demons but they used something to weaken your Father's body.", his mother said while helping out his Father to stand up.

"Their looking for you, (Y/N) ...",the mother said while Rengoku and (Y/N) widened their eyes.

"Me...?But what they want with me?"
"Who are they? Mother, Father, did you remember their faces.?",Rengoku said while his parents looked at each other.

"Yes..there are two of them. A man with a reddish-brown hair color and a woman covering her face with a silk."

Rengoku immediately knew who are those people, who attacked their estate and who kidnapped his brother.

"Tsk.. It was them.."

"When did this happen? Why did they took Senjuro!?",Rengoku said while looking into his parents.

"It happened yesterday, evening, when we are having our dinner." the mother started to tell what happened yesterday, evening.

FLASHBACK*

Me, Senjuro, and your father are having our dinner when someone knocks on the door.

"It's evening, who might these people be.", Shinjuro (Father of Rengoku) said while looking at the door.

*Knock, knock, knock* , the knocking became louder.

"Agh..this people are pissing me off!", when Shinjirou stood up from his seat, he was stopped by Ruka's hand (Mother of Rengoku).

"Dear, let me open the door.",she said while smiling to comfort his husband.

"Just be careful...",Shinjuro said as he let Ruka to open the door.

"Excuse me, how may I help you?", Ruka said as she opened the door.

"Does someone lives here named
(Y/N)?" the man said.

"(Y/N)...? She's with my son right now and they haven't come back yet. Why..are you looking for her?", Ruka said as she observes their faces. 'I haven't seen these people, maybe they are from a far place'

And then suddenly, Shinjuro appeared beside Ruka.

"Who are you people? If you are looking for that girl, (Y/N), then she's not here. You're just wasting your time."Shinjuro said as he closes the door but it was stopped by the man's foot.

"What? Didn't I told you that's she's not here-", before he could finish what he was saying, the man hit him with something on his head that made him to collapsed in the ground.

"D-dear! Why are you doing this!? Who are you people!?", Ruka said while holding her husband.

"We know that you're hiding her! Bring her out!", the man said as he entered their house forcibly.

The man and the woman walked around their house but they didn't saw the person that they are looking for.

"Tsk! She's not here! Where did you hide her!?", the man saw Ruka signaling Senjuro to come to her. Then suddenly, before Senjuro could reach her mother, the man grabbed his arm and pointed a knife on his neck.

"Senjuro!", "My child!", Senjuro's parents shouted.

"Bring her out or I will kill this child of yours!", he then put the knife more closer to Senjuro. The man started throwing the things in the house while he continues to ask where (Y/N) was.

"Let's go now...we won't gain anything from them, Let's just take the child.", the woman said to the man.

"Tsk..you're lucky tonight.",the man said while removing the knife away from Senjuro's neck. "Come here you brat!", the man then carried Senjuro to his shoulder. "Father! Mother!"

"W-where are you taking him!? Give him back to us!", Shinjuro said while the woman just throwed a paper in front of him.

"If they ever come back, give that letter to them. We'll be waiting.",the woman said as she and the man take their live.

END OF FLASHBACK*

Then Rengoku's mother gave the letter to Rengoku and (Y/N).

"I promised that we will get Senjuro back! I promise and sorry for being late...", Rengoku said as he approached and hugged his parents.

"Let's go now, (Y/N)! We're gonna save my brother!", Rengoku said with a smile on his face while holding (Y/N)'s hand. "Yeah..lets go", (Y/N) said while smiling back at him but having a worried face of not knowing what was waiting for them.
