Chapter 6: Back hug

I used some characters belonging to My engineer the series for a small appearance as Ming's friends. I don't know if you saw it, I particularly appreciated the couple Ram King.

Kit POV

A light chuckle escape from me as I seeing Ming's attempt to make pancakes. The picture of his kitchen completely upside down is quite a sight.

"Who is making you smile so early in the morning?" Beam asks trying to grab my phone.

I quickly turn it off, feeling shy whenever I think of Ming. I recall how he took care of me while I was sick this weekend, it must have been such a pain in the ass for him.

My skin is itching as I think of him.

"Ming is still asking your advices to court?" Pha asks me.

"Umm..." I reply vaguely.

We do talk a lot this week but it wasn't much on his senior. I rub my chest starting to be uncomfortable. I almost forgot that it was for that reason he was talking to me. Once they get together he probably will stop writing...

My mood drops at this realization.

I decide to change the subject. "Ah Yo, is he feeling better?"

"Mostly feeling embarrassed" Pha chuckles.

Beam face turn to look from me and Pha to return to mine with his mouth gaping open.

"What??? Kit is the love guru of who? Are we talking about Yo's best friend? Why nobody told me?"

"You would have known if you came last Friday night. Where were you anyways?" I ask him.

Beam makes an awkward smile. Weird. We used to hang out in a bar Friday night, but he ditched us without warning last time.

Yo was there and the topic came on Ming and his senior. Yo was pouting because his best friend had been completely silent about his courting, which had surprised me considering that he was texting me almost every day to tell me about it between other things. A mixture of guilt and happiness had showered me leaving lost with my emotions. Ming had the power to overwhelm me.

Yo had ended up completely drunk, shouting "He's hiding things from me!" marking the end of the night. It had been quite funny to see, less for Pha who had to hold his lover so he wouldn't shout those words at everyone passing by.

"Do not change the subject!" Beam counters before he goes on "Isn't he used to date? Why did he ask you? You don't have any experience."

I glare at him, you can be sure your friend can poke where it hurts.

"Yo should have told him to come to me" Beam tell us with his twinkling eyes.

"It's dating advice he wanted not sex ones" Pha snarls.

Beam faints to be shocked before grinning "True"

"But I agree with Beam, how come Ming is asking you?" Pha wonders looking at me.

I shift uncomfortably on my chair. I can't tell him that it started because I helped Yo when he came to me almost crying saying that Pha would never be is. After that I kept in touch with him, figuring out together how to make Pha melt, which was easy since he was already in love with Yo.

"You can't tell good advice if you never have been into a relationship?" I inquire.

They both look at each other with raise eyebrow.
