Chapter 7: Date

"Yo told me something I didn't believe, Ming said to him that you were dating?"

Heat raises up at Pha's question.

"What?" Beam yells.

It's been less than a day and everyone knows already? I'm actually happy he told Yo, it means he's serious about this.

"It's true" I affirm, strangely anxious of telling them.

Beam grabs my face and lean closer, as if he's trying to see if it's a joke.

"Since when?" He yells loudly.

"Not not long." Crap I can feel my face heating up "He confessed to me yesterday" I answer shyly.

Damn I can feel the eyes of all the people present in the food court on us thanks to Beam discretion.

"And you didn't say anything?! You broke my heart Kitty" Beam shouts.

"It's so recent, I still have trouble believing it myself..."

Beam pinches my cheeks, looking hurt.

"My own best friend, betraying me" He says in a sad voice. "If I knew you would end up being taken away by some engineering moon I would have claimed you myself" He claims like an actor in a Greek tragedy.

"Really?" A deep hoarse voice growls near us making the both of us turn around.

Beam suddenly lets me go and stammers "Forth? Ah it's a joke you know" suddenly all trace of teasing gone.

I stare at him with my jaw on the floor, Beam is stuttering? What the hell is happening?

Beam grabs Forth hand, preventing from turning around. Forth is visibly angry and quite scary shooting deadly glare at me. Damn I knew that Beam would be the cause of my death sooner or later!

"Ming is going out with Kit and I was trying to get back at him for hiding it from me"

I would have argued with him for doing this but I was way too intimidated by Forth to do this in front of him. If looks could kill, I would have been dead already.

Seeing the intensity both of them are exchanging I sense something fishy. They don't even know each other that well. How come Forth is getting mad? I'm definitely not the only one who needs to come clean.

"That didn't sound like a joke to me" Forth retorts glaring at me.

Beam takes Forth head in his hand and plant a kiss on his mouth. I can feel everyone holding their breath as Forth starts to respond.

He presses Beam against him, his hand descending on his buttocks. I can see their tongues connecting, murmurs of pleasure echoing in the silent courtyard. Beam grabs Forth buttock too while biting playfully his lips generating a growl escaping from the other.

I turn my head away, this way too intimate for me. I see the look of shock in Pha's eyes as he stares at them. I turn his head and he suddenly snap out of his torpor.

"Beam!" He yells seeing how the all food court is staring.

"Hum?" Beam respond, slightly breaking the kiss.

"If you're going to keep this get a room" Pha tells him trying to put an end to this.

"Good idea"

"What? We have a class in less than half an hour!" Pha retorts.

The only response he gets his a wave of hand as Beam disappear entraining Forth with him.

"What the hell was that?" He asks to no one in particular.
