'Dear Diary,
So. It is the first day back. I'm in 9th grade. I'm a little nervous because of the big difference in the schudele but it will be fine a suppose. Op. My mother is calling. I'll write in you how it goes, tonight.' -Maddie.I set my journal in my desk and headed downstairs. I eventually ended up outside in my mothers car. I smiled as she began to drive. We talked a bit. "Now you know I'm going to Nashville this afternoon, right?" She asked. I nodded, "Yes ma'am. You're going to be gone for a few months?" I asked. My mother smiled thinking about it, "Yes.. I love you very, very much. You know that, right?" I looked at her, "Yes ma'am. I love you very much as well." My mother put one of her hands on mine, "Your step-dad will take really good care of you.." I starred at her. Why was she talking like this? I slowly nodded, "Will you call me tonight?" My mother nodded and continued to look at the road, "I'll try." Soon enough, my mother parked the car. I grabbed my backpack, waved goodbye, and left. I looked at my schedule carefully. "Room 22.." I whispered to myself. I looked around the hall I was in and eventually my eyes met the numbers. Slowly, I walked into the room. I sat at a desk.
~Later that day~
I was home finally. I hugged my mom goodbye as she left. I felt hot tears streaming down my face when she finally left. Afterwards, I went and grabbed a bite to eat then headed to do my night routine. I crawled into bed and texted her that I loved her before passing out.
((The next chapters will be longer! I promise! Anyways, Leave what you thought in the comments!))
