Weeks passed and all you could do was gamble. There was some type of chemistry between you and the smooth cards, and that motivation of whether you could win it all or not. Just the risk of losing got your adrenaline flowing and made you feel better. Forgetting about all that you've worked for.
You put the last amount of money you had into your square on the blackjack table, hoping you'd be able to get triple that amount by winning. The dealer passes out the cards. Ten of hearts.
You waited for the ace, your whole body pumped, ready for it to just happen. Just to get a blackjack and get that twenty-one you needed. He placed another card. Two of diamonds.
"Shit" you mumbled under your breath. The small amount of hope you had wasn't lost. The game isn't over yet.
Once the dealer reached you, you pressed your two fingers on the green table, signaling 'hit'. The dealer passed you another card. 10 of ace.
"Twenty-three, bust!" The dealer shouted. Your heart sank to the floor, you were done. The dealer pulled your one black five-hundred dollar chip and put it into his stash. Looks like it's the casinos money now. You pulled away from the table, desperation overflowing, looking for a way to get some type of money. All you wanted to do was play. You walked around and eventually found Hoseok. He was at the bar, spinning the small umbrella that was in his margarita glass. You sat by him.
"Hobi, I don't have any money. Know where I can get some?" You whispered, trying not to get anyone but his attention. He looked over at you, his once sad expression turned into a bright smile.
"Yes, yes, yes!" He put his hands on your shoulders. "I got some friends, they'll be able to help you.." he slurred. He was definitely drunk.
"Okay well can we go? I really want to finish that damn blackjack game."
"Yes!" Hoseok burped. He jumped up and started walking torward the employee room. You followed him, hoping he wouldn't get fired for tagging you along. Sure you wanted some money for more chips, but you sure as hell don't want your friend losing a job. That'd just be horrible.
You followed him up the dirty stairs. Once you two resched the top he pressed open the heavy door, holding it open for you. You stepped in. It was beautiful. The actual floor was made out of white marble and the pillars that held up the ceiling were made out of gold. Possibly fake, but it looked gorgeous. The ceiling had a beautiful painting aligning across it. Your mouth widened in awe.
Hobi walked up to the front desk, there was a small, frail lady typing away on her computer. She had stringy yellow hair and her skin was tan.
"Is he here? We have somebody who wants some mula." Hobi flashed. The lady nodded her head. Hobi walked over to you, grabbing your hand. His hand was soft, it was always so soft. He dragged you down the hall in front of some door, and opened it.
There was a man leaned back on his chair, messing around with his pen while his feet rested on his desk.
"Hoseok, what is it now?" He asked Hobi.
"New customer!" Hobi replied. The man rubbed his temples with his left hand.
"Okay, send them in." The man rolled his eyes. He took the feet off his desk and sat up. Hobi moved out the way and you walked in.
"Hello, my name is Lee Y/N." You bowed. The man's eyes widened, but quickly went back to the normal shape.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Min Yoongi." The black haired man said. Yoongi, such a unique name. Had a nice ring to it. His name repeated over and over in your mind.
"Please take a seat Ms. Lee." Yoongi grabbed a booklet from a drawer in his office and placed it down on the desk. Hobi left the room shortly after you sat down. "How much are you wanting to loan?" Yoongi clicks his pen, the inky ballpoint coming out from the black plastic covering.
"At least one-thousand." You said, confidently.
"One-thousand? What do you use that on?" He asks.
"I mostly play blackjack, but sometimes slots is fun." You shrug. You just needed the money.
"A beautiful woman like you playing blackjack? How intriguing." He looks at you. His black eyes admiring your body.
"Yeah, it's quite fun." You awkwardly position your purse to cover your legs. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere in that small little office.
"Very well," he leans back into his chair, "I'll give you one-thousand dollars if you give me one-hundred percent of that amount. Meaning, I give you a thousand dollars, you give me two-thousand." Yoongi stretches his neck. "If I don't get two-thousand back by... Lets say, two days from now. I'm going to have to do something. You may not like it but someone else will." He licks his lips.
You nod your head, biting your lip. You knew you shouldn't have but you wanted to gamble. You felt the urge to.
Yoongi smiled and stood up, walking over to you. He reached his hand out, you put your hand in his as he helped you up.
"It's a deal then. Allow me to walk you to the front Y/N."
You accept. He walks you out of his office, your hand still intertwined with his. Hoseok hops out of the chair he was in.
"Y/N!" He walks over to you and Yoongi.
"Enjoy your night, remember what I told you. Hoseok will get you your one-thousand in chips, feel free to cash out anytime. See me in two days." Yoongi smiles.
Everyone has such a cute smile. You watched him walk back into his office, you just couldn't stop. His movements were so smooth, not to mention his pale skin as well. And his scent, a stronger cologne, smelled very manly.
"Ready to go?" Hoseok asked. You nodded as Hobi dragged you back downstairs to the casino room.
