Chapter 3

The angry angel

After a whole match of basketball, all the toys were in the floor since Haeri didn't take then in the toys box and played basketball. The coach's pillows were on the ground or on the coffee table for some reasons. Jungkook panted as he found it wasn't that easy to play a basketball with a such a fast little girl, they were draw, "I won, you cheated by hitting me in that place" Jungkook blushed a little remembering when she crushed the eggs. He was laying on the floor whining in pain asking if she was a real girl or not, how can she be this strong he said. Just the memories of that makes Jungkook have a goosebumps. The suddenly Haeri remembered something and started cleaning.

"let's clean before daddy gets back, he will scold me again for playing basketball at the apartment-" her eyes widen open as the door opened and Jimin got in with the grosery bags with him. His eyes widen opened and glared at her. Jimin knew that his daughter did this. But he glared at Jungkook too because he allowed that.

"you two! It's just the first day and you make a mess?!" Jimin hated the mess and when the something is not in it's place. Jungkook and Haeri gulped and looked down. Jimin sighed in frustration and told the other two to clean the mess before Jungkook leaves. He took the bags and walked to the kitchen with the bags and went to make the dinner. Jungkook sighed and went to pick up the pillows, Haeri took her toys and put them in her room.

Jungkook sat on the table eating since Jimin invited him. Jimin was still mad at them for the mess they made. Haeri was avoiding the study time by the basketball. "did you study? 'Jimin asked, haeri' s eyes widen open and focused at her soup. Jimin sighed and looked at Jungkook, he was also focused in his food. Jimin looked back at his daughter." I didn't allow you to go out to study, now you play basketball at home? Haeri let's take this seriously,i don't want you to have a bad grades" Jungkook took a glance at Haeri, her hand was clinching on her chopsticks like she was angry, she took a spoonful spoon of rice and bowed then went to her room,Jimin sighed. Jungkook suddenly felt the curiosity in his mind. Jimin looked at Jungkook with his tilted head, he knew that Jungkook was asking for what happened.

"she has been acting like this since she was toddler, I don't know why but a on day she became harsh and always act like boys, she picks fight with all the kids even the animals, and in the end she come with a dirt clothes, bruises on her face and scratches everywhere. I don't know what to do"jimin felt the depression and sadness flowing in his mind, Jungkook face changed its direction to Haeri's room. Somehow he felt guilty, somehow he felt that he needs to help this family, so they won't be broken like his.

The dinner ended and Jungkook went back home. He couldn't stop thinking about the strange family that he knew. More about day by day. He sighed and sat on his couch with the beer can in his hand, his hyungs weren't home,he was alone. His mind flashed the the awful memories of his. He closed his eyes and slept alone on the couch. Alone like everyday

A month has past and no more trouble Haeri made, she actually became so quite and do nothing. She always stay at her room and sleep. Jimin was worried sick and wishing that she is fine while she looked not, his part-time jobs didn't end and he had to work overtime. So he will have to leave Jungkook with Haeri the whole day.

Jungkook stood in front of the door that he knew Haeri was in, he was scared that she got depressed for some reason. He knocked the door and heard no reply, his eyes widen and opened the door. Scared that she ran away. He looked around the room but he found nobody, he opened the closet but he heard a sob. He pushed the clothes and found the little girl with a sketch and pencil, he sighed in relief and sat on the floor out of the closet. Having a good view of the little girl who were trying to hide what she did draw. "why did you stay here?" Jungkook asked, she looked down and answered "I want to stay alone" she avoided his look. Jungkook sighed and tried to take the sketch and succeeded, he found a beautiful drawing of a guy and a little girl, the another guy with no face ans he wasn't holding the little girl's hand like the first guy did. He look like he was leaving.

"you are talented than any another kid" he said and smiled at her cheering her up and he succeeded, Haeri smiled warmly and sat closer to jungkook, she pointed at the first guy" this is daddy"she said, then the small girl "me"  and then pointed at the last guy "and the kedari ahjussi!" (kedari ahjussi means daddy long legs in English and in korea it's not the cellar spiders, but the kind person who helps the people who needs money of help.), Jungkook looked at the little girl with confusion. "kidari ahjussi gives daddy some money some toys to me! He plays with me as well." she said. Jungkook smiled and nodded.

"let's go and do homework Haeri, I will help you to impress your daddy" he said and she nodded. Jungkook's faces changed and sighed "is he divorced? Or he was a real kedari ahjussi?"jungkook asked. Another quicane to his mind but it was impossible to happen. Her father? Then Jimin is a single father? Then who is the that ahjussi? Maybe father?
