After what happened at the end of your poly relationship, you did something that you told the others you wouldn't and that was starting a secret relationship with one of the ten. That was none other than Yo Shindo.

At first, it was great and it kind of carried on from where it had left off before the two-month break. During being single for the two months, you'd had the chance to clear your head. Processing your dad's fragile state and having to take more of a leading role within All Might Inc. That's when you bumped into the handsome quarterback, Yo Shindo at a charity event you'd been invited to.

Of course, as soon as you saw each other the two of you couldn't take your eyes off each other with one thing leading to another and revisiting the men's restroom like the first time you'd got together. From that day the two of you were classed as an item, but it was only between you and him. Swearing him to secrecy, advising that you were scared to go public after the atrocious things that happened before. Yo was just happy to have you in his arms, to know in his head that you were his and that no one else needed to know.

This went on for a year, the more time went on the more Shindo wanted to scream to the world you were his. On multiple occasions when he stopped at your penthouse, he asked to move in together, only to be refused. It was as if he was the only one taking the relationship the two of you had seriously, but what was worst, is every time he argued with you on why you couldn't go public a year on from what happened, all you would say is that you would feel bad for betraying people.

Shindo's friends knew he was in a relationship, but whenever they asked who, he stated it didn't matter and that he would tell them when you were ready. It was obvious to Itejiro, Tatami and Makabe that it was you that Yo was madly in love with. They would constantly catch him in his final year of college looking at houses for sale, and at one point he asked Tatami of a ring he'd been looking at.

The price alone made the blonde want to cry, since Yo's family wasn't poor he could afford to give you something. Constantly spoiling you with gifts only to be told he didn't need to waste his money on someone like you. As time ground on, the two of you seemed to drift further apart, even though you loved Yo, the fear of what happened with Dabi had bedded itself deep within your heart. The feeling of wanting to fully trust Yo, who had done nothing to show that he was betraying you at all. Doing everything your way, whenever you wanted it and never able to shout to the world that he was madly in love with (f/n) Yagi and wanted to spend the rest of his life with you.

After finishing Ketsubutsu College, he got drafted into a big team and was starting to become a big hit in the NFL world. Constantly training, trying to fill the time until the days that he visited yours. Those days were getting less and less since your timetables clashed. Yo knew full well you could plan meetings around his day, but you constantly told him it wouldn't look good to change them.

Two years, that is how long it went on until Shindo was at his breaking point. It was a Friday evening, the two of you were supposed to be at yours for a romantic night together. Yo had said that he would prepare everything, and all you needed to do was make sure that you were on time.

As Yo set up the meal, your favourite with candles lit and large bouquets of roses, he'd decided that tonight he wasn't going to wait any longer. Tonight, he was going to propose, almost 90% sure that you would say yes.

Sitting at the table nervously, Yo looked at the clock his shoe tapping on the leg of the table as he waited for the sound of your footsteps. However, instead his phone chimed.

The text crushed his heart as his fingers typed vigorously on the keyboard on his phone.

Yoyo - Babe, U promised u wud b here on time! xx

Baby Girl - I no but this is important! I'll make it up to u 😘xxx

Looking at your message, his warm chocolate eyes grew cold as he looked down at the message. A flit of rage burning through him, he'd done well to hold it in for so long with you but tonight was the night that he felt he'd be able to rejoice from the rooftops he was marrying the woman he loved. Alas, that wasn't the case!

As your eyes read the message, it was clear to the people in the meeting that something had come up. "Do you need to leave Miss Yagi?" an elderly gentleman questioned, as you stood up a second.

"I just need to make a quick call, 2 secs," leaving the room, you pressed Yo's name and it didn't take long.

"You betta be saying you're getting to your car," it was clear from the tone he wasn't messing around.

"No, what's wrong? This is a big deal. You know I can ma...." being abruptly cut off by Yo's loud groan down the receiver.

"Aren't I a big fuckin' deal to you? Aren't I important? All I fuckin' do is everything you want the onetime I want you home when I fuckin' ask you decide to book a meeting it's typical and I'm not being 2nd anymore...so I'll ask again are you gettin' in the car or are you still in the meetin'?" it was clear that he was at the end of his tether, but somewhere deep down you really did believe that you could make it up to him.

"I won't be long Yo. I'll get this meeting..." stopping as he chuckled down the phone.

"You know what, have a good fuckin' life...I can't do this anymore I love you but you don't love me clearly..." before you could even speak back, Yo hung up the phone.

"Yo...hello...don't...fuck sake," putting your phone to your face, you thought for a second, before walking back into the room.

"I'm really sorry, somethings came up and I really need to get home. Can Mira-Jane take notes and I'll look over tomorrow?" glancing at the men and women sat there, they nodded as you quickly gathered all your belongings.

The thing was when you got home to see everything Yo had prepared, he wasn't there to surprise you. The key to your house was posted through your letterbox and all his stuff was gone. The only thing that was left, was a ring box on the kitchen worktop and a note.
