We walked into a room full of keys fluttering about and one old warn out broomstick.
The keys are so shiny...
"Harry you can do this you're the best seeker in Merlin knows how long!"
Hermione exclaimed. Wait what! what did I miss!
"Fine only cause you say so"
Harry jumped on the broomstick and flew up, immediately all the keys flew about 10x quicker than before.
I screamed as the keys charged fully at us. We sprinted and leaped out of the door the keys lodging them selves into the space were 10 seconds ago are heads were.
"Were do you suppose we are?"
Hermione asked
"A giant chess board"
Me and Ron whispered
"If my thoughts are correct this is a wizards chess board"
I stated
"But not just any wizard chess board this is at least 5x the hight do the normal one."
Ron said
"You know Ron I think your right"
Harry said agreeing with Ron.
"Harry you are a bishop"
Ron points to the empty bishop square
"Hermione you are a castle"
Ron points to the space the castle just shuffled out of
"Liz you are going to be queen"
I moved into the space the queen just moved out of
"What are you going to be?"
Me and Hermione asked
"I am going to be a knight"
Ron sat on the horses back and the game begun.
Both white and black (were black) were doing good we had a pile of smashed whites scattered around the left side of the board and the whites had smashed blacks scattered around the right side of the board.
"Pawn to g7"
Ron spoke
"We might win here"
Ron said
I saw what he had to do to win
"No Ron you can't"
I shouted
"I totally agree with Liz on this one Ron no you can not do this"
Harry said backing me up
"Do what?"
Hermione asked clueless
"He's going to sacrifice himself"
Me and harry shouted
"No Ron you mustn't there has to be some other way!"
Hermione screamed
"There isn't"
Ron took a deep breath
"Knight to H5"
He said
I covered my eyes I couldn't watch. I heard the swing and the smash of stone. I uncovered my eyes there lying of to the right side of the board was Ron lying helpless and limp.
