The Valley

The soil behind her cracks apart. Leaving behind footsteps that could be find by anyone sane. As if there were any people that is.

It has been quite long since she walked. She have no idea of where she is. Or she is heading to.

One thing for sure,
She wants to get away from this barren land as soon as she can.

She felt thirsty. She saw what appears to be cactus tree. She approached the silhouette and what she found was not what it expected to be.

"Those are telephone poles?"

There appeared to be a line of unused wooden poles that supports telecommunication cables.

Which convinced her that people used to be living here. There must be a nearby residential area that inhabits these barren land.

However. She still cautious about the situation.

Who threw her in that deadly poisonous trap? It was close to railroad track.

The perp must have threw her off the train and left her to be consumed by the living spore creature that resides in there.

She cant seem to relax. Of course, given the state she's in. She must be expected to die in that place.

They should be coming back and see if she was actually dead at some point. They must be.

"I should definitely make haste. Who knows what will happen if I linger around these parts any longer"

She presses on. She make her way towards a valley of caverns. She might find some place to drink. She believes that her chance of getting water is better the further down she goes under the terrain.

However, she might encounter more than just danger as darkness slumbers inside those caves.

From the eerie damp stinky vents and tight spaces filled with leeches into a hole covered with nothing but blood sucking gooey slimes. She saw them all. She have experienced all sorts of encounter.

What awaits her inside those craters? A sharp pointy mantis that can sickle your body in half? Or a large murderous ant that drags you under endless pit?

Regardless of the imagination that ran all over her mind. Her thirst overcame the scary thoughts, making her tiny feet trembles no more.

She needs to go there and drink so bad. She might not make it out alive but its better to take the risk than be left dry in the deserted land with regrets and desperations.

She pulled herself up the rocky climb. She finally gets to see the full view of the valley and which crater she should look for water.

"It look all the same, how should I know which one holds water?"

She turn around and sat down for a while. Pondering whether its worth going down or find another place to quench her undying thirst.

For a second, she snapped out from her thought and starting to see 2 silhouette approaching towards her.

"Who could that be?"

Is it human? Is it trustworthy?

Or is it dangerous?

She analyzed her situation and she think its best to hide and stalk them for the time being.

Given the state she's in. She will probably wont stand a chance against 2 opponent. Not that she expects to confront them face to face anyway.

She begins to search a suitable hiding
spot. Erased her recently made traces of footsteps to ensure her cover is perfect.

She found a set of rocky hills that she can take a better view from. She climbed up there but suddenly..

She fell down rolling into one of the dark crater.

She never been seen soon after that.

What will happen to her now that she fell into darkness? What lies deep inside there. Did she even survive to see whats in there?

The 2 shadowy figures stood still up from the hill. Overlooking upon the craters.

"What will become of me?"
