"I can't believe she accepted you?!" said Beatrice, Maureen's best friend.

"Yeah, although she's a wolf inside, but still, a dove inside her heart lies," she replied.

"Wow, earlier you mentioned that she's a wolf who likes to eat doves, and now you're saying that she is the dove, you're unbelievable,"

Both of them laughed.

They are talking in a big cafeteria, almost looked like a restaurant. Every student is there whether they are in a cutting class, or just studying.

"When will you start making that stupid paper?" Beatrice asked.

"Maybe the day after tomorrow"

"What is your position?"

"The Managing Editor"

"What the hell is that?"

"The position next to the Editor-In-Chief"

"So it's the Vice President, like that?"

"Yeah, almost like an assistant"

The day arrived and the staffers of The Painter are very busy. It is 7:00 am when Angelica arrived in glamorous clothes. Maureen went to her as Angelica walked to her table, and then Angelica talked very fast.

"I need the Editorial Columns at 9:00 am and call the News Writers to cover the program happening in the Municipal Hall I don't know what they are doing there but I want my writers there and then call the Sports Writers for a meeting here in the News Room for the upcoming Intramurals and I want the Feature Writers to submit their articles about The Fallen 44 and tell the Photojournalists to come with the News Writers in the Municipal Hall," said Angelica in a very soft but fast voice.

Maureen is writing very fast in her scratch pad and then takes a look at Angelica who is already sitting in her chair and looking at Maureen. There is a silence and they are having an eye contact and then Angelica talked.

"That's all," she said in a pretty voice.

Maureen looked up and then turned around and gave a sigh.

Maureen arrived in her house very tired and sleepy. She lay to her bed and then talked to herself.

"Hang in there Maureen, it is a point for an extra curricular activity in order to become a Valedictorian, just be persistent and you can graduate as one,"

Maureen is a middle-class person or who you call as may kaya. Her parents pursue her to enter a private school although it is very expensive because there are many things she can learn in that school. Maureen is a 4th year Highschool student. She is trying to get the place of a Valedictorian to be granted by a high-paying job abroad.

The next day, Maureen saw Ms.Cruz in front of her classroom waiting for something and is looking far away.

"Ms.Cruz!" shouted Maureen and running straight to Ms.Cruz.

"Ms.Cruz!" she repeated as she comes closer to her.

"Ms.Cruz, Angelica said that the Feature Articles must be submitted to her at 10:00am."

"Oh, Maureen, that's why I'm looking for her to tell that the Feature Writers didn't submit yet the articles," Ms.Cruz replied.

"What? Angelica needs the articles right away and I can't fail her for that"
