Adelaide walks all around London and in hopes of finding something enjoyable. But no she didn't find anything. In her eyes London wasn't the same as California. There it was sunny and bright, she was able to go to the beach all the time. But at London the weather was honestly kind of gloomy. Adelaide knew she had to find something or else her mother would rant about how stubborn she was being. So in an effort to please her mom, she buys pastries from a small bakery near their house. Adelaide kind of enjoyed the smell of the warm croissants in the box. So she couldn't wait to get home to eat it with her mom.
She rushes and opens the gate to their house. Closing it with her foot Adelaide turns to the door. She stops once she notices how it was cracked open. Adelaide puts the box down onto the floor and takes out the small switchblade that she kept in her boot. Slowly she goes up the stairs and opens the door. Adelaide was met with knocked over chairs and a broken table. Her heart drops instantly in fear and she rushes over to the living room. A lamp was knocked over while the Tv had a large crack. Adelaide checks the whole floor quickly in hopes of finding her mother but she wasn't anywhere.
Since she hasn't checked the second floor yet she decides to go up the stairs. Everything seemed in place which shocked Adelaide. But as she opens the doors a gloomy feeling hits her stomach. Her mother was nowhere to be found. Adelaide rushes inside her mother's room in hopes of finding clues. A box sat on the bed and slowly she opens it. Inside was books from when her mom went to Hogwarts. But what stood out to her was the wand and the journal. It stood out to her in way that made her take them out of the box. Adelaide notices the bookmarked page so she flips to it.
We won the war but at what cost? I lost my best friends and can't even find my godson. They say to trust Dumbledore but how can I when I don't know where Harry is? I promised Lily that I'd take care of her son. I was supposed to raise him with Adelaide and Luther. But the more that I think about it, I realize that I also need to protect my own kids. The gift of wandless magic and immunity to the crucio curse has been passed down in my family for centuries. Now that it skipped my generation it definitely passed onto Adelaide because Luther doesn't display any signs. While Adelaide is already displaying strong signs of it so I'm worried. What if they come after my babies? I can't let that happen so when Lutheris five and Adelaide is three, I'll be starting a program in America and if they want then they'll come with me. But I don't know how Robin and Chris would feel about it. Everything has gone to complete shit, I'll write when I know more.
Adelaide closes the journal in shock and she takes a few moments to think about the new information. She knew that she was a witch but Adelaide thought that she needed a wand to do it. Realization hits her when she remembers that James uses a wand. Hurriedly Adelaide opens a charms books. She flips to the first page and she reads the first spell. "Expelliarmus?" She questions but the wand on the bed flies off. A gasp erupts from her throat as she realizes that she was able to do wandless magic. "This is crazy!" Adelaide exclaims but goes through her mother's charms book. Her eyes light up once she lands on a spell.
