Adelaide laughs in disbelief as Clarke stands up from his seat and gives her a hug. "Professor Anderson, what're you doing here?" She asks as he lets go of her and goes to shake Robins hand. "I'm going undercover in the ministry and I'll be helping you with the-" he stops when Natalia hits his shin. Clarke sighs then wraps an arm around Adelaide. "Natalia loosen up a little! The teens should know and I don't mind them knowing." He reassures causing all the teens to look at him in excitement. "I'll be helping Adelaide with learning about the Ivanov bloodline and the monsters they created." He finishes causing Adelaide and some of the others to groan in boredom. Clarke looks at them confused. "He's a historian no wonder his panties get in a bunch when we talk about the Ivanov bloodline." Adelaide says as she takes a seat next to her dad. Clarke ruffles her hair in retaliation as he goes to sit beside Natalia.
"I can still give you detention." He retorts and she mouths his words back to him in child like manner. He shakes his head at her in amusement then turns to talk to Remus. Adelaide sighs and puts some food on her plate. She can feels a bunch of eyes burning into her head. "If you guys have questions just ask them." She says not even glancing up at them. Luther shares a look with the others and then says "Are you alright now? You had us all worried." Adelaide finally glances up at them and they notice the puffiness of her eyes. Luther frowns at how she looked. "I'm fine you guys don't need to worry." She reassures with a smile that was so bright the teens to back to eating except for George and Luther. They share a look as if they were using telepathy. Adelaide continues eating not even noticing the looks the two kept on sharing.
So when all the teens eventually go upstairs Adelaide gets pulled into a room. She turns to punch the grabber but it was Luther. "You idiot I could've knocked you out!" She exclaims in shock then notices George. Adelaide sits in the couch and raises a eyebrow at them. "What?" She asks as the two boys share a look with each other and brings two chairs to place in front of Adelaide. They sit down causing an awkward silence to fall. "What happened when you left?" Luther asks and Adelaide stiffens in shock. "I-I-Uh I accidentally bursted some of the street lights. Then dad took me to the woods and told me to just scream." George's eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Scream?" He asked and Adelaide nods her head. "Glowing blue spots started to form on my hands and arms. The wind started picking up like crazy so I just screamed." She says while looking down at her hands to see if the blue spots would come back. "What happened after you screamed?" George asks slowly not trying to set off Adelaide who was basically a ticking time bomb. "The woods became nothing... absolutely nothing. Everything was knocked down or destroyed." She answers while glancing off into the side with a expressionless face. Luther and George's mouth drop in shock. "The whole woods just got destroyed?" Luther asks and Adelaide nods her head. Before he can respond his name was being called. "I'll be back." He says then walks out of the room leaving Adelaide alone with George.
"When you said that you're a miracle and mistake, what did you mean by that?" George asks causing Adelaide to look up at him. "I wasn't a planned pregnancy. Luther and I were both conceived at the hands of a bourbon bottle. The only difference was my parents had feelings for each other and ended up getting married but later separated." She answers while playing with her fingers. "They still love each other don't they?" Adelaide nods her head with a small smile. "She wanted to go to California but my dad wanted to stay here. So they went their separate ways. But yet after ten years of not seeing him, she packed up everything and moved here." George smiles lightly at her words. "Well isn't that pretty sweet?" Adelaide smiles softly and nods her head. "Yea it is." She answers causing a silence to fall upon them. Adelaide didn't know what to say so she felt a little awkward. But George being George was oblivious as hell. "Are you excited to go to Hogwarts?" He asks curiously watching Adelaide's every moment. "I mean I am pretty excited because I get to finally be with my brother. Potions seems pretty interesting."
George scoffs then says "If you end up in any house that isn't slytherin then you won't find potions interesting. Snape has got it out for anyone who isn't in his house." Adelaide smirks a little at his words. "What if I end up in slytherin?" She asks causing his mouth to drop slightly. "Well then you'd end up rooming with the snakes. Besides you seem more like a gryffindor to me." He answers with a small shrug. Adelaide shakes her head lightly then stands up from her spot on the couch. "Come on we should go to bed." George follows her out the room and they go upstairs. Adelaide stops in front of her door then turns to look at George. "You know you aren't that bad if you don't constantly make weird pick up lines." She says then enters her room shutting the door. George waits in front of it for a few moments with a small smirk. "She complimented me, nice going Georgie." He says to himself while walking to his room.
Hermione and Ginny rush to hug Adelaide. She stumbles back in shock from the force. Awkwardly she taps their back in a way of comfort. "Uh hi?" She says and they let go of her. Hermione gives her a small glare then says "You scared us to death! I thought that you ended up doing something horrible." Adelaide frowns the guilt kicking in. Ginny sighs and says "Well at least you're alright now. You know... George was pretty worried." A smirk is placed on the youngest Weasley. Hermione giggles as Adelaide shakes her head. "Yea well everyone who's a decent human being should be worried. I looked like a manic when I left the house." She retorts as she goes to her bag and finds her pajamas. Hermione and Ginny both look at each other in annoyance. Then rush to Adelaide's bed and jumps on it. "Adelaide Ivanov King! You're almost as oblivious as Harry. Which isn't a really good thing because that boy is too oblivious." Hermione scolds and Adelaide laughs loudly.
"What am I oblivious too?" She asks in amusement while changing into her pajamas. "George thinks you're cute Adelaide! Maybe you can just try and talk to him." Ginny jumps in a hopeful look in her eyes. "Yea he thinks I'm cute but he also probably thinks I'm some game to be won. Constant flirting isn't going to get him anywhere." She replies back with a little eye roll. Ginny giggles then asks"So if he didn't constantly flirt with you and I don't know... tried a different wooing tactic, it'll work?" Adelaide shakes her head implying a big no. "But that is what you were implying!" Hermione jumps in a small smirk lacing her face. Adelaide looks at her in betrayal because of her participation. "Hermione! You're joining in too? Well how about you and Ron?" She retaliated causing Ginny to bark a loud laugh. Hermione turns a bright red and she begins to look like a fish out of water. "I don't know what you're talking about." She quickly says then the door swings open revealing a tired Luther.
His big pajama pants and large sweater made the girls stare at him. He looks at them with a small glare. "I do not look adorable!" He exclaims causing the three to laugh from their spot on the bed. Closing the door he rushes to the bed and sits on it. "I thought you were going to room with Harry and Ron tonight." Adelaide says as she also lays down on the bed. Somehow all four of them managed to fit on the bed but that's mostly because Luther laid on top of Adelaide. "Yea but they mostly talk about quidditch or girls. Most of know that I prefer fashion or boys. So it doesn't really work out most of the time." He answers and Adelaide sighs softly. "Luther?" Ginny asks causing him to hum in reply. "Wouldn't Adelaide and George look nice together?" She asks almost making Adelaide hit her but Luther's body stopped her. He laughs loudly but stops when he realized she was serious. "My baby sister isn't going to date some airless gryffindor. I love George really and he is one of my best friends. But no! My baby sister isn't going to date anyone especially George." Adelaide rolls her eyes at his protectiveness. "You're acting as if I haven't dated or kissed anyone. Actually I've gone further than that!" She exclaims but then she closes her eyes once she realized what came out of her mouth.
