I headed down stairs, and was greeted by the stunning girl which my parents had told me her name was Ashley. "Hey, what are we having?" I asked. "Were having taco's your favorite." Ashley said. Then I had a flashback...

"Dani, come downstairs and eat with you're family!" My mom shouted. "You ready to meet the parents?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Don't worry you're perfect." I say before grabbing her hand and leading her to the kitchen. "Mom, dad this is my girlfriend, Ashley."

Later in the flashback...

"I can think of a something that taste better than tacos." Ashley whispered to me.

I must have been staring for hot second, because everyone was staring at me with concern. "Sorry, I just had a flashback, or I think it was." I said, still trying to comprehend what just happened. "Well, what did you remember?" asked my mom. "Oh, uh, you were calling for me to come and eat dinner, and I asked Ashley if she was ready to meet my parents, I told her not to worry because she was perfect and I introduced her." I explained, not wanting to tell them the last part of the Flashback. "I remember that day, me and your dad were so proud that you finally settled down with someone."  My mom explained.

Dinner was awkward, because they kept bringing stuff up that I still had yet to remember. When they were telling me about myself I sounded like an asshole. I was actually kind of disappointed.

Knock, Knock

I'll get it." I spoke up wanting to leave the awkward conversation about my past. "Hi, who are you?" I asked. She looked at me like I was stupid. "Dani, you can't just ghost me!" She shouted. "I'm sorry I don't know who you are." I explained, I'm guessing everyone could hear her, because they all walked toward the entrance. "Why the fuck are you pretending you don't know me?! We dated for two years!" She shouted. "Jen, Dani has amnesia, so no she doesn't remember you." Ashley spoke. I could see the sadness flush over the girl's face, but also I thought I saw a flicker of... happiness?
