Joey and I were in the living room he was playing video games and I was on my phone when dad walked into the living room

"Joey Richie it's Friday night what are you both doing sitting around you should be out with your friends" dad told us

"Yeah you don't know me that well do you" I asked him everybody knows I'm a lone wolf it's how I prefer to be

"Dad I am with 12 of my friends right now playing "Wheels of Anger 6 I just stole your car" Joey told dad

"No yeah one second Harold I got a P.O.S Parent Over Shoulder" Joey said I to his headset as dad turned off the tv

"Dad" Joey whined as I laughed then dad took my phone

"Hey" I pouted as dad sat next to us

"Joey Richie when I was your age you would not catch me home on a Friday night I would be out having fun" dad told us as Joey and I gave him a look

"I'm fun" Dad told us

"Sure you are dad and Richie has excellent social skills and I'm super athletic and super smooth with the ladies" Joey said sarcastically as I laughed

"That was a good one" I said as Joey and I fist bumped

"Listen I'm headed out to my old high school hangout The Pastrami Palace why don't you both come with me and I'll show you both some real fun" dad said as the doorbell rang as we walked to it

"Dad there is absolutely nothing that could happen to make me want to do that" Joey said as he opened the door and we saw Willow

"Hi Joey" she said as he screamed

"I'm here to study with Maddie but I wore new body spray in case I saw you" she said as she moved her hair to the side

"Take a whiff" she yelled at him as he started shaking

"It's okay Willow I can smell it from here I just gotta bolt though I have a date with my dad, twin sister and fun" Joey said as he dragged dad and I out the house

We were in the car as Joey and I were on our phones texting about how bad this night is

I sat in the passengers seat as Joey sat in the backseat and dad was driving

Dad look over at Joey and I and he snatched our phones

"Oh come on we're handing and having fun life doesn't happen on a video screen" dad told us when we heard police sirens as Joey and I laughed

"Any chance we can get our phones back" Joey asked I took our phones out his hand and gave Joey's his

"I would like to post a picture of you getting a ticket for texting while driving" I told him as we held our phones up

"Say pastrami" I told him as I took the picture as Joey tapped my shoulder

"Hey send that to me" Joey said smiling as I nodded and sent him the picture

"Let me do the talking" dad told us

"Oh here's a tip if he's carrying a boom box he is not a real cop learned that the hard way" Joey said as the cop walked up to the car

"Sir it's illegal to text and drive" the cop told him writing a ticket

"I wasn't my son and daughter were texting Officer Clarkson" dad said as he looked at the cops face
