I was outside with Maddie, Dad, and Parker. Maddie and Dad were about to play a game of one on one. Parker was the ref and I was standing watching them.
"Ready dad? We got to get a little practice in" Maddie told him
"Just lacing up" Dad told her tying his shoes as Parker blew the whistle
"Delay of game Dad" he yelled

"Talking back to the ref technical foul" he yelled as Dad walked to us wearing tiny green shorts as all our eyes widened
"What are those" Parker asked as dad began stretching in front of us
"Those are shorts. It was a dark time in fashion before you were born" I told him
"These are prime time Pete Rooney's lucky shorts" Dad told us as we all huddled together
"He wore them when he led Ridgewood to the state championship so he'd wearing them now. And when he's talking about himself in the third person, it means prime time Is about to win" Dad told us as he kept stretching as the three of us looked disgusted
"Okay dad I've seen you holding a clipboard on the court now let's see if you can still play" Maddie told him handing him the ball
"Oh I can still play check it" Dad told her as he kept missing shots
"What, Oh No No" Maddie said shaking her head at him
"Just a little rusty" Dad told her panting as Parker blew the whistle
"Traveling" Parker told him as he looked confused
"Traveling?" He asked
"Yeah, those tiny shorts are running up your butt" Parker told him as Maddie and I laughed high giving him
