Seraphina's POV

"Arlo, Remi, Blyke, Seraphina, Elaine, Isen and John." Headmaster Vaughn looked us straight in the eye. I sipped on the mango boba tea I had gotten before coming here. I was still suspended for reading a certain book by my best friend's father when I had received an urgent call from the headmaster saying he needed me right away. What could be so important that I was called back from my suspension?

"I need you to help an old friend of mine." Why did he need us to help an old friend? After all, the headmaster held lots of strong power. I sipped again.

"However, my friend, his name is Chiron, lives in another world." My drink slipped from my fingers, but I caught it in midair, using my ability. I heard a little cough from my right. I turned around. Isen was staring blankly at the headmaster, his scarlet eyes with accompanied with a twinkle that said "GREAT NEW STORY VIBES."

"Headmaster, did you just say that Mister Chiron lives in another world?" Arlo said, his gaze piercing, as always. The headmaster smiled.

"Indeed, I did, Arlo. Chiron lives in a world where what we think of mythology exists. Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse, to name a few. There are such things as Greek gods that exist. Demigods are the term the people there use for half-god, half-mortal. Most of the people you meet will be demigods. Chiron mentioned that they do have some special abilities due to who their parental god is. However, those powers are not like 'abilites' we have in this world. Recently, two unconscious kids suddenly appeared on the-place-where-demigods-are-safe-and-where-he-trains-them-to-fight-monsters-that-supposedly-come-after-them's beach. Most of the campers believe that they are also demigods, but Chiron knows they aren't. He has concluded that they are from a different world and are part of a prophecy. He also thinks that time portals are appearing in some certain places." The headmaster explained. By then, my jaw had dropped and my mouth was sore from having it open so long. I quickly closed it.

"Then what do we have to do with it?" I challenged.

"Well, you are part of the prophecy too." My eyes widened. I opened my mouth to ask another quesion.

"Chiron will explain everything when you children get there. So, you must pack tonight, for you are leaving early tomorrow. You must get a lot of rest." Headmaster Vaughn interrupted, then waved his hand at us. I nodded and turned to leave.

"Wait a second. Headmaster, what do I have to do with it? I mean, the others are all high-tiers, and I'm a cripple...wouldn't it be better to send someone like...um..Cecile?" John asked. The headmaster gave him a weird look. John shrank away, lowering his golden eyes to the ground.

"What is decided is decided, John. You will go." The headmaster replied. Then, I FINALLY turned to leave. The others followed me, John at my side. Then I realized that the blond haired, blue eyed boy wasn't following. Arlo was just standing there, his movements rigid, his face stoic. The headmaster turned around, saw Arlo and sighed.

"Arlo, you are dismissed." Arlo instantly relaxed and started to head toward us.

I lye on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I had already finished packing awhile ago. I was bored. I had nothing to do except for wonder. So I did that exact thing until I fell asleep.

Blyke's POV

I yawned, still groggy from last night's rest. So sleepy that I didn't even notice Isen put a megaphone next to my ear.

"HEY GOOD MORNING SLEEPY TOMATO!!!!" I jumped.

"GAH!!! YOU PUMPKIN HEAD!! I'M AWAKE!!!" I accidentally activated my ability and an energy beam randomly shoots off my hand and burns the wall.

"PUMPKIN HEAD!!! HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?!" I yelled.

"You left the door open." Isen's amber eyes narrowed.

"And by the way, did you just call me Pumpkin Head?" He glared.

"Well, you just called me 'Sleepy Tomato,' so what's the difference?" I said bluntly.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE  A SLEEPY TOMATO, AND I'M NOT A PUMPKIN HEAD!!!!!" He yelled.

"ALSO, YOU ARE A LOSER BECAUSE YOU BROKE MY PEN!!!" He adds. I sighed.

"I BROKE THE MOST USELESS PART OF THE PEN, STUPID!!! STOP CLINGING ONTO THE PAST!!!!!" I shouted. Just then the door opens, and Remi, with her pretty bubblegum pink hair and light red eyes steps in.

"Are you ready yet, Blyke?" Remi said. I gaped at her.

"N-no! I'm not ready yet!! Wait for me outside!!!" I yelled, embarrassed and frantic. She smiled while Isen snickered and they both head outside the door. I quickly pull on a blue T-shirt and green shorts. I brush my teeth quickly, try to comb my uncooperative crimson red hair, grab my bags and slam open the door.

"I'm ready! Let's go!" I said.

"Wow, Blyke, that was fast." Remi said. I beamed.

"Let's go. Race you!" Isen said and runs off. I dash after him and Remi just jogs along.

When we arrive, the others are already there. Elaine waves to Remi. The headmaster is there, in front of a hole that shows a beach and some cabins. The headmaster calls us over.

"Remember, students, I want you to keep your abilities a secret unless it is an emergency. If you don't want to be completely powerless, you may use your abilities secretly. Be careful." Headmaster Vaughn smiles. He nodded at Arlo. Arlo stepped in the hole and disappears. Then Seraphina, John, Elaine, Isen, Remi, and then, finally, me.

Everything spins around me, colors are swirling. When the everything becomes still, I open my eyes to find a half horse, half-human in front of me. Wait. WHAT?!?! I immediately spring to my feet.

"You must be Blyke." The centaur said. He extended a hand.

"I am Chiron. Your friends are already in the meeting room. Please follow me." WAIT. THAT'S CHIRON?!?!? I stepped forward hesitantly.

"Do not worry, I will not harm you." He said. I nodded. I was about to take another step forward when nine people appear in front of me, out of nowhere.
