He flinched back but composed himself back. His eyes were teary but he tried his best to hold it back.

He giggled. "A knock knock joke.

You sighed,"Who is there?"
He smiled proudly and replied,"Jimin."
"Jimin, who?"
"Let Jim in please."
You were speechless. His voice slightly broke at last like he was requesting to let him feel accepted, which made you worried.
He just went like he did all these days. But you were there looking at the door, hoping he would again enter and smile.
