According to the brochures Jorvik is a paradise.
There was Silverglade with its green fields and deep woods.
❝Silverglade is an extensive area in Jorvik that includes Moorland, Firgrove and Valedale. To the west, the area borders the Goldenhills valley and the Southsilverwater lake.❞
The ever falling leaves of Goldenhills Valley, with its high mountains and deep dales.❝Goldenhills valley is a very special place. Myths say that it sneaks around mysterious snow ghouls and other dangerous creatures there in the winter, that's why the gate has been locked.❞
And the Harvest Counties with its long forgotten fields and the ancient city of Jarlaheim.
❝The Harvest Counties is what the area southwest of Silverglade is called. It is known for its many farms and fine crops. Here we have Jarlaheim, one of Jorvik's largest cities, and the famous Jorvik Stables.❞Then there's South Hoof Peninsula with its wild herds of ponies and open vegetation.
❝It's a rugged rocky island that protects Silverglade from the strong forces of the sea.❞And lastly we have the dense beautiful forest and wildlife of Mistfall.
❝A lush wilderness known for its evergreen forests and pristine spring water. Much of the land is a protected national park.❞Of course paradise is a good description, but there's more to the island than the brochures say. There is said to be a valley of eternal winter, and giant glowing runestones that no one dares to move, much less read.
And whispers of magic and people in grey cloaks can be heard over the mountains in Valedale.
