Chapter 3

Evangaline POV:

        I was sitting in my window corner in my room. looking out on the woods, like i always do, when i heard voices drifting up from under the floor boards.I stiffened, then relised they were speaking with the rest of the family. That was strange, we normaly dont have unnexpected visitors.They had not told me of any visitors. Had they?

        Curiously i left my window sill and my two cats Walter and Sarah to venture downstairs. I began to listen in on theire conversation. oh course Edward could hear my thoughts and knew i was listening, but thankfully he did not draw any attention to me.

        I started hearing voices, almost all of them i knew, but two new voices penetrated the air, a man and a woman. It seems as if they wanted to join our coven. Carlisle was telling them about living off animals and how they must stay on that diet while part of this coven. Interesting, they had already started the diet.

        I was intriged and wanted to see them. I hid up in the rafters of the celing. i saw a man and a woman, well she looked more like a girl. She was short, not as short as me, and small, with golden eyes that said that she had not dranken human blood for a while now. she wore expensive looking clothes and had a bow in her short spikey hair. she wore a big smile and had bright white teeth.

        The man was, well he was the most handsome man id ever seen, with chin length dirty blond hair that looed like it had not been brushed in a while. A light blue button up shirt, with jeans and cowboy boots. His eyes were an orangeish yellow signifying that he either sliped up on the animal diet a lot or he was new to the diet. I guessed a little of both.

        I started listening to thiere conversation again, they were talking about me!? The pixie like girl her name was Alice wanted to...meet me? Nobody ever wants to meet me! suddenly I realised that everyone exept the newcomers could see me. i had crept down from the rafters and i was now near the window, whatching everyone. Suddenly esme called me forward to meet them. Everyones head swiveled to my corner. I took a deep unnede breath and steped forward into the light.
