Hank Voight was on his way back to the presienct. It was his birthday and nobody had said a word to him, not even his girlfriend. No call no text no nothing. His team had said nothing he went over to Trudy's desk.
"Hey Trudy anything for me?" He said with a smile.
"No."
"Okay."The rest of the day there was nothing. Just paperwork and a phone call that lasted for about 3 seconds.
"Well it looks like there's nothing coming in so we may as well head home." He said. He was said but he didn't let it show. Voight decided that he would head home a couple of hours after but 3 hours later he still hadn't packed up. His phone rang he was almost praying for a case. Just a reason to spend the evening not alone.
"Voight." He barked kind of annoyed about his day."Sergeant Voight. Could you come out of your house please?"
"I'm at work. What's going on at my house?"
"Sir you need to come to your house ASAP."
"Great that's all I need." He thought. But it was a reason to get out of his office.
Within 20 minutes Voight is at his house there's just a single police car.
"Officer what's going on here?"
"Sir we have a woman in our car that says that she lives here."
"Who is this woman?"
The officer opens the door and the woman gets out the car.
"Hi."
"Holy shit. Well I wasn't expecting that."
"Suprise. Your team are inside Hank."
"I thought... I thought I'd been forgotten."
"Hank voight forgotten. No that couldn't ever happen. Happy birthday."
Olivia turns to the officer. "Thanks for doing this."
"All in the name of love Ma'am."
