TAEHYUNG

I went on walking around the house like it was no one's business. Couldn't go out because of the horrible rain, I hated the rain as a kid, it poring like a tsunami now wasn't helping. The rain pattered on the grounds and I just laid on the couch hearing the stupid sounds.

"Stop already," I grumbled as I pushed a pillow aggressively to my face. Hands ruining my hair before I got up and went to get a drink, I hadn't gone to the session today. I knew I was asking too much, but as she said, I was well and achieved what I was at the clinic for in the first place.

I was a better man in terms of morals and as much as I was grateful to her for that, I couldn't help but feel the slight sting in my heart whenever I thought about her. Which was practically most of the time.

Pouring some wine into the largest wine glass I walked back to the couch, downing it faster than I thought I would. I turned on the T.V and put the CNN News, weather reports going on about the harsh tornados, storms and multiple rain showers and there I knew the rain was gonna be my guest for a while.

I went back towards the wine stand, picking up one of the bottles and removing the cork. Before I could even pour it into the glass the doorbell rang, catching me off guard and I quickly jogged to the door afraid the person outside might get caught up in the storm.

My eyes widening a fraction at the sight in front of me. Chaelin stood there with a transparent umbrella over her head and I quietly moved back to let her in.

"I'm sorry but, my car shut down, your place was the closest I knew," she explained and I nod.

"Want some coffee?" I asked when I saw her rubbing her hands together for some warmth. Without any further ado, I walked to the kitchen, turning the kettle 'on' before getting the mug ready.

"Thank you for not throwing me out at a time like this, I would've totally understood if that was your choice," she said, looking away from my eyes. She still had the aura that yelled vulnerability but I was always fascinated at how well she hid it.

The kettle whistled for the last time and I lifted it, pouring it into the mug that contained the ingredients. The smell of it makes me feel warm as I hand the mug over to her.

"I might be a bit childish but I'm not an asshole, I would help anyone at a time like this," I said, not looking at her but I was sure I felt her eyes on me. She nods before looking down into her cup of coffee, taking a sip of the hot beverage then smiling right after.

"Thank you," she said and I nod while cleaning up.

She watched the news with me as I let her stay till the rain calmed down a bit and we could go fix her car, a large sound was heard before the T.V looked like it just broke. Accurately, the T.V just died, I had my mouth apart at the shock, having to see smoke at the back of the set.

I should've listened to my mom when she warned me to not use electronics during heavy rain.

The air grew thicker when I knew that we had nothing but our company left it the house, the very thought of making my palms sweaty.
