Chapter 22

Nandini went to freshen up ....she came outside wearing simple long cotton kurti and trouser.... Manik was in hall sitting on sofa with  back of his head resting on sofa with closed eyes ... Nandini found an uneasiness in his body language... he was looking  stress .. may be bcoz of lots of work and flight .... she went near him sat besides him and touched his forehead with her index finger...Manik immediately after feeling her touch on his skin opened his eyes ... His eyes were red ....

" What happened Manik ? You are jot well ....."  she said worriedly !!!

" Nothing its coz of work and flight i didn't  get time to sleep so thay is why little tired ..."
He said with small smile but nandini was worried ...

" Okk then i will cook in the house only no need to go outside, ok first do dinner then you sleep " ...  She said amd was about to get up to go into the kitchen but Manio hold  her hand

" Listen  I  m just tired here come sit " ...He said amd make her sit with him again and side hugged her ...

" But still i dont want to outside and burden you ".... She said looking into his eyes

" But i wants  to take you out  "  he pressed her shoulder ....

"But".... Nadini tried to say something but Manik puy his finger on her lips

"Shhhhh.... .. itni tentoin mat liya karo Nadini ,I m human , so it's all natural dont strees okay ..."...  he said whilr cupping her face ..

" I dont know i just het panic seejng you in thses kind of situations " ... She rested her head kn his shoulder ....

" What if i m in such a serious trouble then what you will do? React like this way ,get panic? U have to stay strong to face any situation " .. Manio stroke her hairs

" What to you mean ? Why are you sayjng like that ? " She got alert ...

"Nothing Nandini ghabrana band karo come lets go " he got up while saying it ....

" No we are not going anywhere " .. she said

"You are saying no to me? I want to spend skme peacful moments and you are not coming? Kya ho gaya Nandini lets go ,i m fine , i need you only if you are there i will be fine anyways ,my tentoin and woories vanishes seeing you " .... He smiled

"But youbare not in tentojn and not worried you are not well "....Nandini was stubborn to make him rest at home ...

" Oh Girl you realy Spolied my mood seriously mujhe bahar leke jaana tha tumhe but ....fine "..... Manik mood was off and he quite became frustrated...

" Manik i m saying for your betterment  we can go anytime " she whispered...she knew she spoiled the moments but she didnt want to make him spoil his mood she too wanted to go out with him but she was worried  for him..

" I m not a kid Nandini, besides i m saying thid that we wont get that much timr for ourselves coz i came here for business bug anyway leave it "... he started going from there ...

" Ok ok wait lets go " She hold his hand...

" No i m not well i shoulf be at home what if i catch something? Moms says stays at home i m going for sleep "
Manik said amd left from there amd nandini pouted ....

Both Manik and Nandini walking slowly Slowly on the road which was emty at this time ,when Manik was left from there saying  that he wont go out Nandidn had A whole "Manao Manik Mahotra to go out session" ... after lot of session  he agreed to come ...

" Thank you !!" ... suddenly Nandini said between their walk ...

"For what?" Came a confuse reply of Manik ....

"For coming  out with me for dinner "  Nandini  left a sarcasm ..

" You mean to say i should say thanks to you ? Coz as far as i remember  i was the one who wanted to take you out woth me for dinner " Manik said putting hand over his car

" When did i say that ? "  Nandini was surprised....

" I didn't say u said that first u refuse to comr now u saying ghanks so i thought u wanted me to thank you " He shrugged  his shoulder...

" Oh please i was worried for you that is why i said no ,and yoh call this dinner ?? Huh " She looked away

" We had a perfect Meal Nandini and you are saying that's not dinner

" now it was Manikd turn to be surprised...

" Nothing all my fault " She said looking down

" What Happened  Nandinj ... look here.... look at me ,kya hua ?  " Manik touched her chin with his hand but she jerked it He again forcefully made her lokk at him  amd surprised seeing her in tears ...

" Hey What happened bolo tell me  " he questioned  wiping her tears but she continued to cry he took her in his arms  and stroke her hairs

"Nandini kya hua hai ,bologi nahi yo mujhe kaise pata chalega haan ?" He kissed her hairs

" You are bad too bad "  She said between her sobs ..

"Ohh honey is in a moof to complain about me "  he chuckled on which nandini  slapped him on his chest ....

They stood there like hugging each other without saying anything ,feelung each other ,with time to time Manik dropping kisses on her head ....Manik knew something is bothering her ,she is worried and her worries ro find a way with tears buy he didnt force her to share it with him ,coz he knew she will herself do this woth time at that time she only needed him and he was there for her he looked at her she was looking in opposite directoin resting on his chest , A smiled found its home around his lips ,je never saw any girl like her in hos life ,so innocent, so down to earth who never bitch about anyone who is happy in her own world ,unproblomatic , with beautiful  heart ... she will gonna raised his new generation he knew that thier children will have the best upbringing.... when he was single he never had an ideal whom he wanted to marry he left it on his mother and his mother chose the best for him ... he still knew when his mother told that she want him to marry nandini he was not shocked at all he obeyed her now he was happy in his married life ......
