While watching the stars, Brad closed his eyes and fell asleep. You look in his peaceful face, your thoughts keep wandering to Brad's words 'Why don't we runaway?' and how convinced he was about it. He really wanted to run away with you and you knew that you wanted that too. At home you always have to do what your parents wanted, even though you are old enough to decide your own things. They didn't care how you felt, the most important thing for them was that you bring the best grades home so that you could later take over your father's company. But that wasn't what you wanted, you wanted to make your own plans for the future. You would immediately agree with Brad, but was that really what Brad wanted? What if he would regret it in a few years? Unlike you, Brad has a loving family. Can he really leave all that behind? And this only because of you? "What's going on in your beautiful head?" Brad gets you out of your thoughts. You look at Brad smiling. "I thought you fell asleep?" You try to change the subject. "I could already feel your mind is discuss about something, so what is it that keeps you so busy that you can't sleep?" He asks, lovingly caresses Brad over your back. "Nothing. I just don't want to sleep, because I don't want to drive back too late and my parents notice that I've sneaked out." You lie. "I'm your boyfriend, I know when you're lying, besides we both always fall asleep and we never drive back too late, that's what the alarm clock on my phone is for." Brad jokes. You sit up, which Brad does too. You take a deep breath, before you look directly in his eyes. "Are you really sure that you want to give up everything just because of me? What if you'll regret it in a few years? What if you hate me for that?" Tears are forming in your eyes. The worst thing would be for you if he hated you for it in a few years. It's quiet for a little while, the only thing you hear are birds twittering. The sun rises slowly, that's why you can see Brad's face better. His look is penetrating, but loving. "How can this be a question? Of course, you're worth it!" He puts a hand on your cheek and wipes away the tear. "I love you and the only thing I want is to be with you without your parents always wanting to separate us and I want you to be able to live your own life without your parents telling you what to do all the time. I want us to have a future together, the way we want it. And that's why I'll never regret it." He smiles at you truefully. "What about your family?" You ask, while slowly all of your doubts fall away. "I am old enough to move out (Y/N), they will accept it and we can visit them." He leans over and gives you a little kiss. "In two months you're done with school, then we can go if you want it." He smiles and you nod. "I want."

It's been two month since Brad and you talked about to run away together and tomorrow is the day. You finished school two days ago and the last two days you've spent your day with packing your suitcase and backpack without your parents noticing. You decide to go to bed earlier, because Brad comes in the morning as early as possible to pick you up but before you go to bed, you notice a figure at the window. At first you are scared, but soon you realize it's Brad. You go over and open the window, Brad kisses you as he walks into the room. "Why didn't you knock on the window and why are you already here? Didn't we want to leave tomorrow morning?" You ask surprised, but also happy, because you are glad that he is here. "I knocked, but you were lost in your thoughts. Have you thought about me?" A typical smirk appears on his lips as he puts his arms around your waist to pull you closer to him. You roll your eyes and start to laugh. "I'm here because I couldn't wait to see you tomorrow morning, I had to see you now but the plan is still that we go at 4am, it would be too risky to go now." He smiles and gives you a kiss on the forehead. "We should go to sleep, we have to get up early." While you make yourself comfortable in bed, Brad walks to the door to lock her before he comes to you. Immediately he puts his arm around you, and you put your head on his chest. "Good night, Princess." You wanted to reply, but you were too tired to reply, so you just close your eyes and sink into sleep. "Princess wake up, we have to go." You can feel Brad gently running his fingers over your cheek and spread little kisses over your face. You start to giggle. "Can you please always wake me up like this?" You mumble and open your eyes to see a smiling Brad in front of you. "Yes I can." He chuckles. After Brad changed himself, he carries your stuff out of the window as quietly as he can while you're changing your clothes. You look back to your room, so many memories, good and bad. Even if your parents have forced you most of the time to do what they wanted, you gonna miss them because after all their still your parents. You put a letter on your desk for your parents, in the letter is written why you left, that you're fine, and they don't have to worry about you and that you someday will come back. You take a last look in your room before you careful climb out of your window down to Brad, who is waiting for you in front of his car. "Ready?" He asks and you nod. You can't wait for the future to come because you were more than just ready to start a new life with Brad.
