Ariella's POV

My name is Ariella Roux, Daughter of Alpha Alexander Roux and Luna Jennifer Roux. I have an older brother, his name is Bastien, who is going to be the next alpha. I'm turning 18 in two days and I'm excited. I get to find my mate. I don't have a lot of expectations for him but I expect him not to be rude. I hate rude and overbearing people. They're the bane of my existence. All werewolves have a wolf. My wolf's name is Diana. She's really sweet and funny. You wouldn't like her when she's mad. Believe me, She's crazy. I'm a hazel wolf with green eyes.

I personally think I'm very pretty. I'm not an average-sized wolf either, I'm bigger. Since I have alpha blood, I am stronger and larger. I wake up looking around my surroundings seeing that everything is a mess from last night. My friends came over and well, we made a mess. I hope my dad doesn't kill me for this. I jump off my bed, carefully navigating myself to my in-suite bathroom to take off the look of the dead on me.

I detangle my jet black bird's nest and take my pyjamas off and hop in my shower. After fifteen relaxing minutes, I get out and walk to my closet, wondering what I'm going to wear for today. After 5 minutes of wondering, I finally choose a white and yellow striped pullover and white shorts and pair it with some grey heeled sandals. I do my makeup, which isn't much just some mascara, lip gloss, some smokey eyeshadow. I grab my phone and run downstairs to my beautiful kitchen to see my parents eating breakfast and my brother, who is trying to sneak some of my breakfast onto his plate. I sneak up on him very quietly and smack him on the head. I then snatch my breakfast from him and start consuming it.

My dad observes my eating and asks me a question, "are you excited about your birthday?" I stop eating for a minute, with my mouth full of food, i say " yesf, I'm vefy excfited for it!" my mother interjects before i say anything else and tells me not to talk with my mouth full. I swallow my breakfast and say the same thing as before to my father. I take my leave and head to my best friend Emily's house, which isn't far. I reach her house to see that it's a complete mess just like my room. Clothes sprawled everywhere, beer bottles here and there, and Emily in the smack middle.

I from a beeline to her and get her off the floor. I try waking her up but she just mumbles something. I then get a superb idea of pouring water over her. She's going to kill me for this but it's going to be worth it. I dash towards her sink, grab a bowl and carefully head back to her. I pray to the moon goddess that I come out of this alive. I chuckle lowly and dump the water over her.

She wakes up spluttering and looks around for any threats and starts growling. She then looks up to see me laughing my ass off. She asks me while wringing out her auburn hair, " why the hell would you do that? I was having a nice nap. You're lucky you are the alpha's daughter and my best friend. I would've killed anyone else." I chuckle saying, " It had to be done Em, you were supposed to take me out today, and help me pick an outfit for my birthday."

Emily's eyes widened in surprise and excitement. She shook me violently, yelling " Oh my moon goddess, you turn 18 in two days!!! Okay give me 20 mins and we'll head out to the mall okay?" after she stopped shaking me, I chuckle and say," alright, whatever you say Em." while she was gone, my wolf Diana talks to me. She says," I know you're excited but I feel like something's going to happen on your birthday, Ariella. Something's coming." that was odd, Diana's never this cautious. Before I could ask what, she disappeared to the back of my mind.
