"Ancano! Ancano?!"
You cried out through the glowing mists.
"Where are you?!"
You felt your heart throb.
Why......why would this happen?
..........................................
Faralda hummed.
"It's....been some time since a (Player's Race) has joined the college."
(Example of players race: Dark elf, Orc, Breton, Nord, etc. However you built your character.)
"Really? Why so?"
You questioned.
"The college, well, kind of has a reputation. Not a lot of folks in skyrim really are brave enough to approach."
"I'm aware of that. But you know I've been here for three months already, correct?"
"Go on ahead and see if Tolfdir needs anything."
She answered, not really heeding your words, her nose buried in a book.
You sighed quietly.
Nobody really paid much attention around here.
You were still considered 'new' after three months?
You'd already done everything Tolfdir needed.
She just needed an excuse to send you away.
With another sigh you walked into the main room.
Each student here had been assigned a mentor when they had came, depending on your specific interests....
You were interested in elemental magic-
Summoning Atronach's, and anything that had to do with the use of elemental energy.
No one in the college specifically specialised in it....
Well except one-
That interaction had gone well to say the least.
He'd gotten into quite the little spat with Mirabelle and the Arch-mage over it.
You'd hidden outside the door, listening quietly albeit feeling a bit awkward listening to Ancano object and argue.
"I'm here to be of your Counsel! Not to to babysit some lowly little mage with barely enough wit to-"
"Ancano. That is enough. We've been courteous enough to allow you here-"
Mirabelle interjected.
"So perhaps helping and taking on an apprentice is a small thing to ask of you. Considering how much the Arch-mage has allowed for you."
"My decision is final. I will give you the leisure of when to begin your teachings. Be glad I allow this much."
The Arch-mage stated before briskly walking away, leaving Ancano to grit his teeth and grumble profanity under his breath.
You were....nervous to say the least.
He didn't exactly seem thrilled.
He'd came to you last night, demanding you meet him in the Arcanium by noon.
Yay.
You trudged up the stairs, your feet dragging a bit as you did so.
You at least hoped he didn't make his hate and disregard as obvious as when he spoke to the Arch-mage.
