When he woke up, Clay was so comfortable. He saw George on his chest, snoring quietly. He looked so peaceful. Clay didn't have the heart to wake him up. Clay reached over to grab his phone. He was barely able to reach it, but once he did, he silently rejoiced. He clicked on the camera app and took a picture of himself and George. Next time he felt down, he could just look at this picture and remember George's warmth, and he was sure that he'd be happy for the next 20 years.

Clay browsed Twitter for a bit before he felt movement on his chest. George slowly opened his eyes. He looked up to see Clay on his phone.

George groaned a little, reluctant to fully wake up, but he felt bad that he had prevented Clay from getting up. "Sorry, how long have you been awake?" George sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Only about twenty minutes. You're fine." Clay also sat up, stretching.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry. You should've just woken me up."

"Aw, but you looked so cute!" Clay teased, pinching George's cheek.

George blushed. "No, I didn't! I'm not cute, I'm manly!" he crossed his arms defiantly.

"Whatever you say, cutie."

They both got dressed and brushed their teeth before going to the kitchen.

"I'm gonna make pancakes, and you can't stop me," George said, reaching to get a mixing bowl.

"Do you really think that I would?"

George mixed the ingredients and grabbed a pan and two plates. He was contemplating internally whether to make a heart-shaped pancake for Clay or not. After standing still in thought for ten minutes, he finally decided, fuck it, why not? He made many different heart-shaped pancakes and placed them on Clay's plate before making some regular pancakes for himself. He then got out the syrup and warmed it up before bringing the plates and syrup to the table. He gave Clay his plate and set his own plate at his own spot. Clay looked and noticed the hearts. He then blushed.

"Thank you, George. I like the heart shapes."

George also blushed. "You're welcome. I made them like that because I like you- I mean I love- I mean, you're my friend!" George thought he was gonna die of embarrassment. He had really fucked up now, hadn't he?

"Hey, George, wanna go out on a date with me today?"

George looked up at Clay. No way this wasn't a prank. "Like, as a date, date? Like a friend's date? Or a-"

"George, I mean as a romantic, not platonic, not two guys being dudes, date. I want to be your boyfriend."

"OK! Ahem, I mean, cool." George tried to play it cool, but the huge blush on his face made it difficult. "Where will you take me?"

"I'll have to research that, but trust me, it'll be awesome and romantic!"

"I'm really excited!"

"You should be!"

---

They walked out of the house before hailing a taxi.

"Where to?" The taxi driver asked.

"Plug your ears, George, I don't want you to know yet!"

George shrugged and plugged his ears. He watched Clay lean up and whisper something to the driver. Clay then turned back to George and pulled his fingers away from his ears.

After a little more than half an hour in the car, George saw it, the giant sign that said, 'Chessington World of Adventures'

"Oh my god! I haven't ever been here, but I used to always want to! When I was a kid, everyone in my class had been, but I never got to go. Thank you so much, Clay!" George leaned over and gave Clay a big hug.

When they were dropped off, Clay paid the driver and they walked up to the entrance. There weren't many people there, as it was November and pretty cold, so there was practically no line.

They spent the entire day on rides, eating junk, and laughing together. Soon, the sun was setting and they were ready to go. They called a taxi to go back home.

Home.

Clay was starting to think of George's house as his own home. But with this thought came another. He would have to go home in a little more than a week. The thought of leaving his new boyfriend made him a bit melancholy. His negative thoughts were interrupted by a sudden weight on his shoulder. He looked to his right to see George sleeping on him. Clay smiled. He might as well enjoy the stay while he's here. He really does love George.
