Victor Zsasz became insane after gambling ruined his life. Victor lived in a rich family and he could have had anything that he ever wanted. He began gambling and played the Penguin in a game of poker. He lost of course, he lost everything. Even his house, his money and all of his things. Livid, Victor leaped across the table, grapped the thug's knife and slit his throat. Victor ran out of the club's doors and into an alley to hide. He sat down and carved a tally mark into his skin. This was the start of the deranged serial killer's insane twist. Every time he kills someone, he carves a tally mark into his skin but before he does that, he poses the dead body. Obsessed, Victor keeps a special place on his forehead for Batman.
