The high school Reunion

Chapter 3: Who came through the door

     It was another employee. I never really saw him work her before, but people don't really come into the work office area unless they are in some type of trouble.

Anyways, when he walked him he didn't know what was actually happening. He probably thought that I liked him or something, but it was the total opposite. Before today i didn't mind him, but since today I hate him more then I hated anybody else. The guy walks in and as soon as he was going to say something I ran out of the room and cried all the way to my office. I locked the door behind me. I didn't want anybody to see me even though I am pretty sure everybody saw me since I was running and crying all the way to my office. As if that wasn't suspicious the guy that walked in on us ran after me too. He started to knock on my door. I asked who it was and he told me that he was the guy that walked in on us. I told him that he can come in. The only problem was the door was locked. So I had to get my butt off of my chair and unlock the door. As he walked in he said,

"Hello. My name is Luke."

I told him that my name was Aria. Then he told me that was a very pretty name and of course I said thanks. I didn't want to be rude and not except that compliment.

"What was all of that back there," he said.

I told him everything that happened. I didn't leave one little thing out. I told him why he wanted to know that information.

"I want to know, because I don't k ow if I should report my dad or not."

I couldn't believe what I just heard. Did he say that my disgusting boss was his father? I didn't know what to say or do after I heard that. He finally broke the silence.

"I knew my dad was going to do this again."

"He has done this before," I asked.

"Yes unfortunately he has," he replied back.

I was kind of happy I wasn't the only girl that he has done this to. Don't ask me why, but I was kind of relieved. So me and Luke starts talking and talking off subject about ourselves. For some reason my bosses son is being super nice to me and is not even concerned about his own father. I thought that was kinda sweet of him to do that.  Making sure I'm alright.  As he talks to me I start to stare into his bright blue eyes. As though I can tell the future from looking in his eyes. I know which would be crazy, but that's what it felt like.

A little while later out from my window I saw Luke's father getting taken away by police officers. I felt a huge sigh go through me. As though everything will be alright.  The only thing is I'm probably not going to be in the mood to be going to my high school reunion. If I go it probably wouldnt be the same as if all of this didn't happen.

As I was thinking what I was going to do I heard a voice call my name. It was Luke. He asked if he could make it up to me if I would go on a date with him. At first I thought that maybe he did this to the other girl too who got hit on by his father. Then I thought what the heck why not go out with him it's free food anyways and you know how I like free stuff. So I told him I would go. He asked if he could get my phone number.  So I gave my phone number to him and he gave me his.  Then after that he said bye and he walked out if the door. After that everything that day was kind of the same old same old. I worked found out Luke's father will be going to jail for a while and then I left to go home. I got dressed in my pajamas and then ate. I took a shower, watched some tv, and then I went to bed.
