Part 11- It's hard to forgive

After work Mike and Mark went to their parents house.

Mike: Hi mom.

Mark: Hi dad.

Darla: Hey, it's so good to finally see our son come back home!

Doug: How many years has it been? 6??

Mark: I'm sorry for abandoning you guys.

Mike: Come to our room.

Mike showed Mark their room.

Mark: Wow, it Feels like I haven't been in this room in forever.

Mark saw a picture frame on the floor that was shattered and picked it up.

Mark: We were so young, I am sorry for the way I left.

Mike: Are you really?!? YOU DID'NT EVEN SAY GOOBYE TO YOUR OWN FAMILY!!!

Mark: I'M SORRY!!!

Mike: YOU KNOW WHAT?! I'M GOING TO WATCH SOME TV IN THE LIVING ROOM WITHOUT YOU!! GOODBYE!

Mike slammed the door shut.

Mark: *cries*

Mark: Are these tears?? I didn't know I could cry.

Mark: I need to man up and tell them how I feel.

Mark opened the door and went into the living room, he saw his family playing some board games.

Mark: Sorry to interrupt family but I need to talk to you guys,

Darla: Of course honey.

Doug: What is it??

Mark: I'm sorry for all the pain I caused over the years and not saying goodbye when I left.

Mike: You left me to take care of OUR family by myself!! HOW DO YOU THINK I FELT!!

Mark: Distraught and I am terribly sorry, I hope you can forgive me😞.

Darla: Of course we'll forgive you sweetheart, right Doug?

Doug: Right.

Mike: Mark, I will always love you but I just can't forgive you.

Darla: Now Mike...

Mark: No (sigh) he's right.

Doug: I sense that theirs tension in this room so I'm going to make dinner.

Darla: Good idea dear.

Darla, Mike and Mark were playing heads up.

20 minutes later...

Doug: Dinner's ready!

The family was enjoying their patties.

Darla and Doug was thankful to have their son back.
