"jinnie," autumn calls for me in english.

"what?" sujin groans, not lifting her head from the sheets.

"it's been a month and you're still grieving."

"so?"

"so you need to live your life, plus i got you something."

autumn shifts around until she left the room. sujin hears the door close and looked up from the sheets to see her boyfriend.

"johnny?" sujin questions in english. her eyes were puffy and red from crying.

"what's wrong babe?" johnny asks, sitting on the girl's bed.

she didn't say anything but wraps her arms around her boyfriend and cries in his chest.

"she's gone. mum's gone," sujin cries. "she was doing just fine when i left and now she's not here. i was having the best time of my life and she can't be here."

"sh, it's okay. it'll be okay. i'm not going anywhere." johnny rubs sujin's back to comfort her until she passes out from exhausted.

he slowly lays his girlfriend back in her bed and covers her with her sheets. he smiles at his girlfriend before meeting yoonoh and autumn in the living room of the apartment.

"she's asleep," johnny informed the two younger. "thank you for calling us."

"yeah, of course. it's hit us all hard but i really hit rachel and jinnie. the two we practical sisters and mrs. smith was their mom. she was a mom to everyone," autumn explains from the couch.

"i just wished we could be here early but we had schedules," yoonoh explains.

"it's okay. at least you are here now. well, i need to go and work at the cafe. i have to look over it until rachel and jinnie gets better."

autumn left the apartment, leaving the two boys to sit there in misery. they only had a week of break from schedules and they choose to visit sujin.

she hasn't been the same since mrs. smith died. she was really a mom to sujin. they met for the first time when rachel and sujin found out they were dating the same guy. they were very similar and their friendship sprouted.

by the time sujin woke up, it was dinner. she lazy got out of her bed to see her brother and boyfriend sitting at the kitchen island, eating.

"hey, you're up," yoonoh says in korean. "eat first."

sujin nods, sitting next to him and at the food without a word. johnny and yoonoh just sigh at the girl's behavior.

once she was finished, she was about to go back to her room before her brother grabbed her arm.

"we need to talk jiwoo-ah," he says. "you can't just sulk forever. i miss my happy sister."

"it's not that simple, i wish it was oppa," sujin practically yells. "she was like a mother to me. she was my mother in the states. she was there when no one else was. she was the reason why i even bothered to come to the states. because of her, i meet two of my closest best friends. i just can't believe gone."

sujin broke down and fell into yoonoh's arms because she was weak. all she has been doing is going to class then coming home and crying.

"i know jiwoo-ah hut she wouldn't want you to be sulking around. she would want you to be happy with your life."

"i guess," the girl says, standing up and wiping her tears. "why are you guys here? don't you have schedules?"

"we have a week break and wanted to come to check up on you before we head to my parents in chicago," johnny answers.

sujin nods making her way to her boyfriend and hugs him.

"i'm sorry."

"what are you sorry for?" he asks, looking at the weak, sad girl in his arms.

"making you worry about me."

"i'm also going to worry about you." johnny kisses sujin's forehead and she smiles into his chest.
