Hope's Peak Academy was alive with energy. The sun shone brightly, and every color seemed to be a few shades more vibrant than normal. All throughout the school, eggs were tucked away; some of the hiding places were better than others. Some eggs had candy within their depths. Others had a more monetary prize. Yet others contained confetti— these were often considered the most fun. There were many booths set up with food and a few competitions offered. Each of the main course students had an Easter basket laid right outside their doors, full of goodies like fluffy marshmallows, creamy chocolates, and a delectably sweet cotton candy puff. Students were packed up at the door, waiting for the administrative officials to release them loose in the school yard so that the festivities could truly begin.
"3... 2... 1... Go!"
Students flooded out the door, like a wave of motion rising and crashing all in one split instant.
