A Talking Bug?!

Louisa's POV

I pulled out the tissue, and inside was the necklace. I decided to clean it.

When it was clean, it looked better than ever! I admired the necklace and tried to wear it. The next thing I knew, a bright light blinded me. Then in front of me was a—

"AHHHH!! A BUG!" I shouted.

"Greetings, beautiful lady." IT TALKED?!

"AHHHHHH!!! IT'S A TALKING BUG!!" I tried to shoo it off me, but it just dodges it.

"Ahhh!!! Get away from meee!!!"

"Please calm down miss, and I am not a bu—"

"UWAAA!!!"

"—-Please! Stay calm and I will explain to you. Take a few deep breaths. Inhale—" I inhale. "—Exhale." The weird floating thing said the same things. And I was able to calm down.

"Good. Let me start. First of all, I am a Kwami."

"A K-Kwami?"

"Yes, a Kwami. A Kwami is a guardian for the person who owns it. And how do you know if you own the Kwami? By the Miraculous."

"Miraculous??" I say confused.

"The Miraculous is what you are wearing, the  necklace." I look at the necklace for a split second. The thing continues. "I help you transform and give you powers. And by the way, my name is Shimmer. I'm glad to have you as my master."

"I-I'm L-Louisa."

"Now, now no need to be scared, Louisa! I am safe and friendly!" She says with her cute voice, and smiles. She has blue eyes too, and was cat-like. " I also wanna thank you for keeping the necklace. It's been a very long time I've been out!" She floats around my room.

"I wanna clarify some things."

"Fire away! Hihi."

"So you're a Kwami."

"Yep!"

"There's more out there?"

"Yes!"

"I'll have magical powers?"

"Hmm, more like superhero powers."

"I'm wearing a Miraculous."

"Yes you definitely are. And if you take it off, I  will be gone. And you have to keep it safe. Because if it falls in the wrong hands, it's bad."

"How do I...transform?"

"Oh! I forgot that! You need to say 'Let's shine!'—"

" 'Let's sh—?"

"Oops! You cannot say that yet! Haha, I'm  not finished. Ahem, to go back you have to say, 'Lights out'. Also, if you do not wish to transform back to normal that's okay! But there is a time limit in your superhero form. And so that you'll know if it's your time, you will hear something beep. Hmm, that's about it! And everything else will be self taught."

"Whaaaa..? This can't be real..." I say, dumbfounded.

"Well, it is real! Oh! And one last thing. No matter what you do don't let anyone know about your identity as a superhero and even the miraculous and the Kwami. Them knowing will put you to danger. Now that's over, do you have some—"

"Bacon bits?"

"Huh? Bacon bits? Uhm, well, that's okay, but I prefer chocolate chip cookies most of the time. Do you have some? We eat to gain back our energy, that's an important thing."

"I do have chocolate cookies. I'll go get some." I went out of my room.

"Crazy things are happening a lot now."

I go back to my room. Shimmer was staring out of the window.

"Hey, I'm back with cookies." I placed the container with cookies on my desk, and opened it. I got one cookie, and held it out to her. "Oh! Thank you very much!" She nibbled on the cookie. I slide out the chair I sit on when I write or work on my desk, and I look at the window, just beside my bed.

I decided to stand and open the glass sliding doors to my terrace and for the meantime, use the screen to let air in. I sit on my bed, leaned on the headboard of my bed, and scrolled on my phone.

I then sigh. "A lot things happened today, Shinmer." I say absentmindedly. "Hmm?" Shimmer responds. "Well, judging from what you said, a lot of things happened to you....and also Louisa? You will be saving lives of other people. You think you can do this?" She asks. "Of course!"

Then Shimmer made a face, like she had think of an idea.

"Ooh~! Now that I'm fully energized let's have a test!"

"Test??"

"With what you can do, silly!"

"U-Uh...y-yeah! Let's try!"

Louisa stands and tried to say confidently.

"Shimmer, let's shine!"

"And we will!" Shimmer says, and gets sucked in my miraculous.

Louisa transforms, and was wearing a gray suit. The necklace camouflaged on her costume, and looked like a design instead. A rope attached on her waist side. Then a gray tail appeared, she used two fingers and slid them in the air, near her eyes, and a mask formed, her sky blue eyes turning sharp and wolf-like. Her hair then untied, and two ears formed on her head.

"Oh my...this is me??" She looks at herself in the mirror. "I-I can fight with Ladybug and Chat Noir??? But I barely know moves!! Oh nooo, what will I—"

"Help!! Help!!! Another villain!!"

"Wait, what?!
No way!"
