A Talk With Marinette

The next day, was a normal day for Louisa. She wakes up, freshens up, eats and dresses up.

She arrived in school with her usual vehicle, happy to feel the fresh air.

It was lunch, and she and Marinette finished it early, and both wanted to walk around and talk, without telling each other, because they feel it.

As they sat on one of the benches, Marinette spoke.

"You know, you're lucky..
"Huh? What do you mean?" Where is this going??
"You're lucky you are close with Adrien."

And at that same time she finished her sentence, she suddenly choked on her saliva.

"W-Wait, sorry that wasn't intentional at all..!
A-Anyways, ahem. Me?? Close with Adrien?"
"Y-Yeah..I mean, you both can hold a conversation, call each other nicknames...you know, those stuff? While me, I can't even construct a sentence without stuttering or jumbling words..."

She pressed her legs on her chest, and hugs her knees. "...I just really like him so much, I don't know what to do...." she finishes, her looking sad.

Does that mean....

"Are you giving up on him?!" she says in disbelief. She jumps. "What?! No! I didn't say that..! I'm just saying that you're lucky that Adrien—"

And as if mentioning his name three times is a jinx, he appeared.

"Hi Marinette!"
"UWA!" She falls on the bench.
"Mari!"
Adrien chokes a laugh. "Sorry, sorry. Let me help you up." He grabs her arms and helped her stand.

Aww...!

"I wanted to ask you about the discussions yesterday..." he tells Marinette. "Also, Hey Loui!" I wave.

"Well, I'll leave you two be. I forgot I had to ask Alya something." Mari looks at me wide eyed, when Adrien's attention was on me, and not her. "Oh! Okay, see you in class, then!" Mari's eyes grew wider.

Her eyes were telling me, 'No! You can't! You can't leave us! Especially me!! Lou noooo!!'

When Adrien's attention goes to Marinette, she smiles rather quickly and forced. I shook my head and smiled, while I go to the classroom.

I texted Alya.

Come to the classroom ASAP. But don't forget to look at the benches ;)

Alya
Oho~ I feel something sweet is goin' on!

Hehehehehe

Feeling proud of myself, I smile.
I look at the ceiling.
And footsteps were heard, and Alya came. She squeals. "O-EM-GEE! Best ship ever!"

I laugh, and proceed to read a book that I had got out of a bookshelf at home.

I purposely volunteered to walk home with Mari to talk on what happened.

Waving bye to the others, we walk out of the school.

"So~ what happened?"
"J-Just all about school stuff..." she says, dejected. "Besides school stuff, what do you and Adrien talk about?"
"Hmm..." I think. "Basically random things. Like..people, photo shooting, models, you, and tho—"
"ME?!"
Oh, I have accidentally spilled the tea.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
"H-Huh?! I didn't tell him the info that you fancy him. We just talk on how kind, pretty and smart you are." I shrug.

It's true though, I did start the conversation and all, hehe.

"Ohmygosh, he a-agrees to that?!"
"Yeah, he even says that everyone is...but you could be lucky and have a chance. Hihihihihi~" I nudge her arm.
She turns red.

Not too long, Mari was home. I wave her bye, and I assure her that I'll be okay walking home alone.

It was almost dark, so I had to hurry.
But here I am, still walking fast, and not running.

At last, I have reached home, and opened the small gate. I open the door with my key, and the house was just silent. There were distant noises in the kitchen, but I didn't bother to let them know I'm going to not eat dinner.

I change my clothes, open my small bag and flopped myself in my bed. Shimmer came gliding out, and I heard a click on the door.

"Thanks, Shim."
"You're Welcome!"
"There's a snack in my backpack. You can have it."
"Yay!"

I miss my parents.

And one more thing that made me sad, was that...
Tonight, I did not have a visit from Chat Noir.
